2011 new year resolutions~

well, as promised~ but first... wonder how last year’s resolutions went...

2010 new year’s resolutions:

1. Lose weight!!! I don’t care how!!! (... I don’t dare weigh myself...) ✗

2. Study more!!! (uh, like I had a choice) ✓

3. Get at least 6 As for O Levels!!! (eh, who knows. results aren’t out yet... *fingerscrossed*) ?

4. Cut down on time spent on computer! (aha, I don’t think I did... in fact, I think I’m spending even more time?!) ✗

5. Save $$$ each month! (SUCCESS!!! I’m so happy I managed to save quite a lot... now I have $$ for concerts... ToT) ✓

6. Try to exercise more... (wasn’t possible. only body part I exercised were my brains. :/) ✗

7. Resist urge to own everything with dbsk/suju/shinee on it! (uh, failed. definitely, FAIL.)✗

8. Stop daydreaming and doodling in class!! (well, I sat right in the middle of class. no scenery to look at but the board...) ✓

9. Keep resolutions! (well, it seems I only managed to keep three resolutions... sigh) ✗

three out of nine (or eight?)... that’s sad... I’ll try to do better this year... u.u

New Year Resolutions 2011:

1. okay, I know this is a repeat of last year’s resolution, but I MUST LOSE WEIGHT so I can wear more pretty clothes...!!! MUST!!! 絶対に!!! XO

2. hmm, since I’ll be going to a new school this year... I resolve to MAKE MORE FRIENDS~! and be more active in school! ^^

3. must not let KPOP (read: dong bang/shinee/etc) distract me from studies!! bad kpop!! shoo!! XO

4. continue saving $$$!!!

5. sleep earlier!!!! god knows I’ve been sleeping at midnight practically everyday last year due to extreme mugging T_T must not get unglam panda eyes...

6. use the com less!!!! bad for eyesight!! bad for wrists!!! and since my com lags, which always makes me stressed and makes me whack it, I should really stop using it so much. I’ll destroy it one day if I keep smacking it, seriously... =X

7. um, I resolve to continue loving 동방신기...!!! whoo!!! \^__^/ okay, this probably contradicts no.3, but I’m running out of ideas of resolutions hehe... ^^;

8. I shall read more books!! last year, practically 95% of the books I read last year were textbooks *sobs*

9. smile and laugh more!!! laughter makes the world a happier place! =D

10. learn basic korean alphabets and phrases!!! ^^

11. record all my expenditure and income faithfully!! I even bought those special kind of book to write stuff like that... must control $ spent... T.T

12. must not lose contact with all my friends!!!!!!! must find time to meet up, people!!! XD

13. do well for studies!!! I’ve heard scary stories of people getting retained in the 1^st year of JC... wouldn’t want that to happen to me now... ; A ;

14. alrightie~! I guess that’s all I can think of... I suppose they’re the more important ones anyway... so! lastly, I resolve to try to keep at least half of my resolutions!! ^^

...I know you’re actually supposed to keep all of them, but hey, better to be realistic! anyway, it’d be a great improvement from last year if I actually managed to keep half of them... (I honestly think no.7 will be EASY to keep. VERY. huhu...) good luck to me then~!! may 2011 be a better, brighter and happier year than 2010~!! ^o^

time has wings... in the blink of an eye, 2010 has passed, and now, we’re welcoming 2011... sigh. I don’t know why, but 2010 seems like a pretty damn short year. maybe cos studying for O-levels pretty much took up 97% of my free time...dammit. ahhhh, well... a lot of memorable things happened in 2010, both good and bad. somehow, it’s been a pretty extreme year. as in, the good things are REALLY good, and the bad things are REALLY bad. there’s too many to name, really. but I could try ^^

let’s see, I’ll start with the good things first~ firstly... I think I’ve made many good friends this year... friends who I hope will be friends for a long, long time... even though preparing for O-levels almost made me bonkers... at least I had people to go bonkers with... love you guys, and thanks for tolerating all my weirdness all this while! promise I’ll be a better friend in the future huhuhu... :3 alright, before this starts to sound like those acceptance speeches people give when they get an award (you know, that goes ‘I’d like to thank my mom, dad, dog, cat etc etc)... moving on! ;D

in 2010... my passion for KPOP grew!! ahhh, the craziness kpop brings... I still remember the horror at lot 1... I almost got squeezed and trampled to death, actually LOST my phone (which was NEW then) and found it (thank god for kind souls...), all this just to catch a glimpse of... SHINee. yes. well, despite all the pain and suffering and waiting (I must have waited about 10 hours *sob*), I didn’t even catch a glimpse of one strand of hair... T_T well, lesson learned. such crazy ‘fanmeets’, especially held in a SHOPPING MALL of all places (and depriving poor shops of business cos how could they open with all those crazy fangirls squished up their doors?) are to be AVOIDED at all costs. of course, I might always be convinced to make exceptions. MIGHT. anyway! after than day, I honestly thought I’d never ever ever EVER get to see SHINee ever again... cried my eyes out, boo hoo :( but then...! they came back!!!! a few weeks (or months?) later... and they performed at the famous Esplanade... but I didn’t go, because firstly, I was still kinda scarred from the first attempt to see them, and also cos they were performing only 2 songs (it’s not their concert, some kind of ost composer’s concert...) and I barely knew either, so, very reluctantly, I gave it a miss... oh yeah, I think it was on school nights too, so I wouldn’t be able to go anyway... again, I thought I had missed yet ANOTHER chance to see them... boo hoo :( :( but... they came back AGAIN!!! (thinking about it... they must have kept coming back cos they wanted to see MOI keke~xD) and this time, THIS TIME, I COULD GO!!!!! HOORAY~!!! if I remember correctly, it was the first weekend of the march hols... 13^th march!! yes!!! SHINee would be attending this SEA (was it s’pore entertainment awards? I forgot...^^;) concert, and lots and lots of other celebs would be there too...(not that I care, I just want SHINee!) ohohoho... I didn’t even think twice... me and sihui snapped the $70+ moshpit tickets and went... ahhh, it’d take forever to recount it again, so just 2 words: No Regrets. :) recently, there’s news that they MIGHT be coming to SG this year for a FULL concert. it’s just a rumour, but omigosh, please come. I will go, definitely. I sacrificed going to SuJu’s concert cos I was (and still am) dead broke and I still need to save $ in case JYJ comes back for a FULL CONCERT this year too (that I MUST go. MUST.), but if SHINee comes, I’ll go, even if I have to starve myself!!! (I’m not extreme, trust me...)

ahhhh, kpop makes me such a happy person~ and I suppose the popularity of Kpop really exploded this year huh... this might seem petty, but I’m proud to say I was into Kpop even before it was this popular~ :P but then, I’m not really that crazy over all the new kpop groups... I’ll just stick to my dong bang, shinee and suju, thank you very much. it’s already more than enough... TT

back to good things~ most people who know me probably already know this, but I still want to say it! my love for DONG BANG SHIN KI, and by that I mean JUNG YUNHO, KIM JAEJOONG, PARK YOOCHUN, KIM JUNSU AND SHIM CHANGMIN, double, tripled and quadrupled in 2010. and will probably continue to do so this year. twitter just made things worse. I practically stalk JYJ’s every tweet O.O not that they tweet every second or anything, so it’s not hard, but still. (anyway, all they do is spazz about their cats, an astounding, incredible 7 kitties *shudders* geez... kids xD) at least my Korean vocab increased. by about 5 words. :) hehe. and I must say... Cassiopeia is really the most supportive, friendliest and warmest fanclub ever. loved ttm~ X3 in 2010... jaejoong, yoochun and junsu also held the most AMAZING, INCREDIBLE, and MIND-BLOWING showcase in this humble island... honestly... when the day comes when they can stand together and perform as 5 again, if I ever get to see them perform as 5... I think I’ll just faint dead away. god knows 3 of them already makes me swoon, if it’s 5... well, I’ll die happy won’t I?! XD anyway yoochun did promise they’d come back to SG if they had a concert, so I’ll keep my hopes up~!! speaking of which... it about 4 days’ time... Yunho and Changmin are having their long-awaited COMEBACK!!!!!!!! SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DOESN’T THIS JUST MAKE YOUR HEART BEAT FASTER IN ANTICIPATION OH MY FREAKING GAWD. sigh. I’m so happy that HoMin can finally perform... even though I have mixed feelings about a lot of things, this fandom is impossible to describe unless I write a book or something. u.u what’s most important is that both JYJ and HoMin are performing, and they’re happy, and cassies are happy, and that’s enough for now... I won’t think sad thoughts, not when they’re coming back so soon... I’ll just get all depressed and that’s not healthy now~! So, HoMin/TVXQ/JYJ fighting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! \*O*/

ahahaha, I’ve spazzed so much about kpop... this post is getting a bit too long, so I’ll just mention one final good thing that happened in 2010... I think that in 2010, I tried a lot of new things... I went bowling, I went to kbox, and I watched the most movies in a year that I ever did (mostly AFTER Os of course...) I tried a lot of new things! it just seems like a year full of new experiences!! that’s good... I hope this year will be like that too... as we grow, we experience more things... we make mistakes, and because of this we learn more and get wiser... ahh, it’s like, I want to be young so I can experience all sorts of new things with youthful energy, but I want to get older soon so I can make a living for myself, so I have enough money to do the things I want to... yet we all know that once people start working, it’s the end to enjoyment. no school holidays, no free time, nothing... when we have time and youth, we don’t have money to enjoy it, but when we finally have the money, time and youth is far from our grasp... sigh. I envy the rich... T.T

all these are just a few of many nice things that happened, but I suppose they’re some of the most significant. anyway, it I continue, I’ll never end keke~ now, for bad things that happened in 2010... well, I don’t really like to reflect on bad things... thinking positive is much healthier~ but still, bad things happen... there were shocking things, things lost which will never return, things I wish I could forget... but life’s not so easy... but when we fall, we don’t lie there and whimper right? we pick ourselves up and walk on...and sometimes, there are hands outstretched to pull you up... so, even though bad things have happened, we’ll continue walking forwards... :) hmmm... I guess I’d rather not dwell on sad things after all... ^^ but a really sad thing which pissed me off is... I wasted practically the whole year studying like my life depends on it. well, it DOES, I guess, but still. sigh. PLEASE LET MY EFFORTS PAY OFF PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LET ME GET DECENT RESULTS SOBS.

okay... I just realised (fine, that’s not true, I realised a while ago) that I haven’t made new year resolutions yet... ahhh... since this post is so long, I’ll do it tomorrow... pinky promise :3

HELLOOOOOOO~ PEOPLE~~~~ It’s been awhile!!! And I’m done with O-Levels already!! I’m a free woman yeaaaah~! Whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Heh... Actually O levels ended quite a while ago, but I’ve been busy until now... Well, you see, after olevels, it’s paaaartay time, so a whole group of us went to shop at Bugis Street! And I had to buy my prom dress too... looked high and low and everywhere, and finally found a decent one which wasn’t too expensive T_T I swear, I need to lose 10kg. There are so many pretty clothes that I can’t wear cos I’m too fat... D= yes, I shall be exercising more often this long holiday... TT

straight after shopping, I had to go home and pack for class chalet, which was the weekend right after o’s. Class chalet was fuuuuuuuuuun~~~ Yes... a lot of things happened, both good and not so good. for one, I got drenched in the rain like I’ve never been drenched before... totally showered in the open... well... it’s a new experience I suppose!! ^^ hmmm, there was BBQ of course, and 麻辣火锅 at bugis (which I paid a bomb for, boo) yummy~ oh, did I mention a piece of potato jumped out and scalded me? I still have a scar to prove it... ToT and we watched a midnight movie too!! another new experience!! XD and kids, remember never to leave your belongings in the cinema! or that’ll be the last you see of them... and you’ll spend the whole night running around a deserted shopping center trying to find them... yanying. eeeek T.T actually, we were supposed to go to escape theme park, but all my $$$ went to pay for the steamboat, so that idea was scrapped... anyway, in rained a lot, and we ended up playing all sorts of indoor games, from that uno stacko thingy to poker cards to guessing games (which drove me crazy =.=). well, all in all, it was an eventful class chalet! oh yeah, the chalet we went to, it’s the coasta sands one, the same one where those crazy kids were found with choppers... O.O scary... it’s a dangerous world these days. what’s with these deranged, armed gangsters running here and there... can’t trust anyone... TT

reached home on monday afternoon, and I immediately bathed, unpacked and prepared to go for the supposed job interview at daiso... well, it turned out to be a total scam. they only wanted people 18 and above, which they totally failed to mention in the ad. the ad never even gave a damn number or I would have called. totally pissed. completely dog-tired from the chalet, I rushed to imm only to find out I’ve been cheated. BOOOOO. >=((

anyway... I think I slept for 12 hours that night... chalet is really tiring! but maybe that’s cos we didn’t sleep much huhu~ ^^ the next day, off to far east plaza cos I needed a belt to give my dress some shape... ah, I need to go back. I saw some really nice bags there, cheap cheap too... *o* oh, but I’m a bit broke... that’s why I need to find a job...sigh.

finally some time to rest on wednesday~ then thursday, prom night!! I guess the photo spam on my facebook speaks volumes already... ^^ too bad my class didn’t win class video... IMO, we had the BEST video. (we cheered the loudest too!) can’t believe the second place went to some shitty powerpoint-ish compilation of pictures. puh-leze a 5 year old could do better I tell you. it’s so obvious they just want to give those classes face... unfair!! bleah. anyway, the food was... um, very little zzzz. seriously. there was shark’s fin at least... and we spent more time taking pictures anyway. ^^ it was fun. once again, kids! it’s not a wise idea to leave expensive things lying around!! a lot of people must have lost their stuff cos I saw lots of weird stuff, especially masks, lying around. oh, the masquerade theme was a total fail cos no one wore the masks. should have chosen bling bling theme XP anyway, grad night will be a great memory... it’s not everyday you get to see you class mates pile on layers of make-up and hair gel... oh, did I mention I had 28 pins stuck in my hair? and the hair dresser used about, oh, a whole can of hairspray on my hair... O.o

after prom night, there was finally time to rest~!!! whoo~ the holidays just begun... I’ve managed to finish watching sunao ni narenatute... ahhh, the last episode, I cried through it... T_T but the ending was okay... it’s a very nice drama... more realistic and convincing that those sappy-love-story kind of dramas anyway ^^ it helps that Dr. is cuuuuuuuuute!!! really...!!!

Now! Here’s a list of dramas that I want to watch during this holiday!! I probably won’t finish, but I’ll try anyway... from the highest priority:

1. Heading to the Ground (yunhooo~~ I have the dvd ^^)

anyway, the last 5 are unimportant. I must at least finish the top 3~!!!! go go go!!!

heh... it feels weird, not having homework to do, no deadlines to meet, no nothing... it’s driving me crazy... I can’t stand being bored... I must DO something you know. if not by the time school reopens, I’ll be like moderately retarded due to lack of usage of brain cells... this machine will be all rusty and creaky... can’t let that happen... I can’t spend the whole day watching dramas either. so I’ve decided to learn Japanese!! pick up where I left it, hohoho. and learn to read Korean too. yupyup. and go out sometimes too. and in the meantime, try to find a job to earn some $$$ too...

how many days left till D-Day?

the September holidays came and now it’s all but gone... sigh. I spent most of it cooped up in my room, buried in books... I think I spent too much time studying for history... but at least now I have finished it!!! muahahah... I am very satisfied... now, I need to spend the last weekend chionging chem, physics and geog... before prelim 2 starts (or rather, continues...) on Monday... ahhhhhh... um, I think I still have to study for amaths, but that’s last priority... my amaths is... hopeless... TT ahhh, I must focus on my sciences... FIGHTING. (><)

of course, I didn’t spend the ENTIRE holidays at home... that’s too boring. I went to JE library to study with SH, YT and the train... keke, a lot of other people from my class were there when I arrived... I think they study there everyday...?! siao... but anyway, it was like a mini class-gathering cum study session... and snacking session?! =.= not that I got much studying done. I think I’m really not the type who can study outside. I like the comfort of my lovely home best. =)) hah, I think the amount of work I did in the 5+ hours I spent there was equal to what I can do in 1 hour at home... but I guess it’s more fun with more people... ^^

we left at about 3 cos we wanted to go to imm... since we walked (exercise is good), we passed by the mrt station, and the popular there was like having a MEGA CLEARANCE SALE. especially the cd-rama. ALL the CDs were going at either $10 for 3, or $3 for 3. there was even one that went for... $0.50!!!!!! oh my god... sadly... very very sadly, there were no kpop, not even any jpop that I recognized... sigh. too precious to sell so cheaply I guess. BUT! I managed to find Leah Dizon’s Destiny Line album! actually, I only know her name, and that she’s quite a popular singer or something, never even listened to her songs before... but since it was $10 for 3, we shared and I bought the album. no regrets, it’s really nice ^^ TOTALLY WORTH MY MONEY. SH bought the $0.50 album (it even has 3 discs, omo. got sun yan zi, jolin and someone else), but turns out they’re just the instrumental, no vocals lol. but for $0.50... I can’t even buy snacks with that... well I can, but not much... XD

so! by the time we reached imm, it was late, cos we spent too much time at popular XD I went to popular (again lol), but SADLY (once again) they did not sell the Version A of the Lucifer album, which I wanted to buy. minho’s face is too big on ver B?! XDDD oh well. so... I went album-hunting the next day...! lot 1 first. got sell, but it didn’t come with the free poster... for around $23, I want a free something, because yesasia’s selling it for $19... make it worth my money keke ^^ so I didn’t buy, went to causeway point instead. the popular there didn’t even have ver A, so I went to the MJ shop... and they were selling it for 1 dollar cheaper ($21++) and, AND, they gave a FREE FOLDER OMIGOSH. wonderful!!!! I bought it. OF COURSE! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

the album ♥

keke, I got minho’s card! so shuai~ I like his hair long better... ^^ I wonder how the others look like? although I don’t mind which I get cos SHINee all shines just as brightly~

the file! (back + front) looks exactly the same as the album cover! and it says ‘Not for Sale’ at the corner...?! XD

it’s so beautiful!!!!! *sobs* the album is filled with beautiful, lovely, shining pictures... ahhhhhh.... *o* I think I really bought ver A just for the sake of the photos... cos normally, I would have waited for the repackaged version (which I predict guarantee plus chop will come out) and buy that, but that usually doesn’t come with as nice pictures, so... since this is my self-bought reward for getting A1 for chinese... ^___^

the songs are wonderful too. WONDERFULLY AMAZING... since I haven’t listened to all the songs before buying the album, there were nice surprises... and I like every single song!!! the upbeat, catchy ones like Up and Down, Lucifer, Wowowow... the ‘urban elecrtonica’ ones like Electric Heart, Love Still Goes On, Ready or Not... the beautiful, heartbreaking ballads like Quasimodo, Life, Love Pain... and the r&b (or pop?) classics like A-yo, Your Name, Shout Out, Obsession... I think I really love it when they harmonize their voices... they really sing... not the autotune voices that makes up 80% of kpop... ahhhhh, to cut a long story short, I love every single song for various reasons, and I think I could write a thousand-word essay on why I love each song (I really want to...), but I won’t ^^

right, now I must work hard now and do well for prelims, to boost my confidence for o levels... ahhhh, I’m scared I’ll do badly again T.T they say prelims is a pretty accurate indicator of how well you’ll do in o levels, even though it’s a bit harder. I’m aiming for at least an L1R5 of 10 this time... ahhhhh... what if I screw up... I already screwed up my emaths... ahhhh... dear shining SHINee, please give my some of your amazing brain power since you don’t really need it anyway... seriously, onew’s like second, taemin is third and minho is in the top 10 in their schools... what the heck. don’t have to be that perfect... T.T maybe listening to their songs more will somehow make me more intelligent! kekeke... oh, this week is SHINee’s goodbye stage.. I didn’t realise until I saw today’s music bank... ahhh, sad... but REST WELL SHINee!!! they look so dead tired these few weeks... and so will I when school opens... geez... I must get my L1R5 of 10!!!!! (>.<)

these days... my mood... goes up and down, down and up... bleah. (>.<)

these days... I really really like to listen to REFRESHING songs =) guess I’m bored of hearing the repetitiveness that makes up most k-pop songs. It really gets irritating once you hear the same thing 6416519874896489^th time... and kpop is the most repetitive thing on earth... the best songs are songs that you can hear again and again and still love... like DBSK songs~ and SHINee songs~ and some, most? SJ songs~ (some of them became a bit boring idk why =.=)

these days... I’m going back to my j-pop roots =D jpop never gets old, to me anyways~ though there are still some kpop songs that really caught me ears. songs by groups that I don’t really follow, but certain songs make me feel really upbeat and refreshed~ motivation~! XD

I’ve been listening to this song since a few months ago, probably about a million time since, and I still love it every time I hear it~ it’s a song that make one feel really happy! ^^

this song... can’t begin to say how much I love it!! the lyrics are really inspiring... Even if things get hard, never give up! I might even have shed a tear or two listening to this~ Lucifer’s catchy, but this, this has meaning and soul~ ^.~ speaking of which... I need to get my hands on the album quick! I’ve decided to reward myself for the A1 in chinese... next time I see it, it’s definitely mine! kekeke

oh! last week, there was smtown concert!! it lasted for more than 7 hours... oh my goodness... what I would give to go... they’re going to LA, china, japan, but NO SG BOO HOO HOO. 7 hours... I want to gooooooooo~~~ T____T my god... changmin and yunho have new songs... *screeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammm*

I heard they’re gonna release new albums soon... *willbuy* hope they release a dvd for the whole smtown concert too... *o* oh wait, I still need jyj’s 3hree voices dvd and the thanksgiving concert dvd... *broke* T_T coincidentally, JYJ were performing at a-nation in Japan the same time HoMin were at SMTown concert! 2 Stages, 1 TVXQ! ^__^

sigh. there’s gonna be another kpop festival in sg... featuring snsd, big bang, ft island, and SHINee!!!!!!! I should be overjoyed, but I’m not, because... I can’t go. it’s on 23^rd October. 2 days before o levels. boo hoo hoo. fml. arrrrrrgggghhhh. *facepalm*

whoo~ the national day holidays came... and they’re going... happy belated birthday, Singapore... =D the national day parade, was, as usual, the same as last year’s! woooow. swiss winds was supposed to appear in front, at the marching part I think, but I couldn’t tell where they were at all... maybe I watched the wrong part...?! bleah. wasted my time... =.= I heard there was celebrations near lot 1... but I didn’t go... heard fireworks too, but couldn’t see anything from my house because it’s all blocked! boohoohoo T.T what a pity. I might have went if it wasn’t for the fact that I had 3 full chem. papers, 2 amaths papers, and 1 emaths paper to complete during this so-called ‘holiday’. joy oh joy.

the 6^th asia song festival showed on channel u yesterday. I watched... for like 30 minutes, then I gave up. there’s nothing quite as irritating as watching the same advertisement repeat again and again, you know? or maybe I’m just too used to watching shows online, where there are no annoying ads... ^^ anyway, I taped the whole show, then fast forward to the nice parts, which were, as they always are, right at the end... Super Junior! yea~ and Big Bang too! nice~

too bad there was no Dong Bang or SHINee... tsk tsk. if there were, I’d definitely watch the whole thing, ads regardless, and scream loud loud at my poor innocent tv... XD I actually planned to sit and watch the whole 2 and a half hours, but I did some research and it turns out that dbsk and shinee only appeared at the 5^th asia song festival, together with 2am, 2pm, ukiss, brown eyed girls, snsd and ss501. wow. nice. that’s why I didn’t watch... stupid peeps at the tv station should have shown the 5^th ASF instead. boo. =P

I realise I don’t keep up with news about SJ nowadays... maybe because there are so many of them, it’s hard to keep up, and some members are pretty much inactive when they’re not promoting any new song... =X... that’s a bit sad. at least there’s twitter. ^^ when I saw them dance sorry sorry and neorago at ASF, it was a bit sad, cos hankyung was still there then... =( bleah. I miss the days of EHB and full house. that was the best!!! I never laughed so much while watching any show before I watched EHB... it’s recommended for everyone! Explorers of the Human Body starring all 13 members of Super Junior! one week of prelims have now passed... and I am still alive. ...I think. sigh. maybe... single-digit L1R5 for o levels is now but a distant dream... if I can get 10, I’ll be over the moon already...

I knew prelims would be hard... but, this had been VERY demoralizing. especially maths. all the math papers were killers... 要我的命啊... T_T the worse thing is, I’m hardly prepared AT ALL. after holidays, school reopened, then study study study, the BAM, it prelims already. completely no time to revise sec 3 topics. and I forgot a lot of sec 4 topics too... and so, I ended up staying awake until midnight everyday this week to chiong and pray hard that what I studied will come out... T___T

all my 10 year series are mostly BLANK, because I have no time to do them at all, because I come home from school everyday, late and exhausted, and I still have homework to do, so I have NO TIME TO REVISE ANYTHING AT ALL!!!!! ROAR!!!! (>o<) the school should just let us stay at home and study. it’s so much more comfortable and productive, you know. it’s not like I even get to enjoy free air-con in school anymore. plus, the whole syllabus has been taught. lessons are just revision time... I can do revision in the comfort of my home. there’s less than 100 days until o levels... how will I be able to finish all my 10 year series by then?!?! it’ll take a miracle... *sobs*

...see, I’m so stressed, my hair is falling out, and I have dark eye circles, and if this is what studying does to me, by the time I’m 20, I’ll look like a freaking monster. TT___TT I’m studying studying and studying meaningless things, things like DIFFERENTIATION and INTEGRATION, things like REDOX REACTIONS and ORGANIC CHEM, things than I don’t like and don’t actually need to know because I’m NEVER going to use them when I grow up, but I DO, in fact, need to know them, because if not I will fail my papers and I’ll lead a miserable life because I won’t have a job and I won’t have any money.....!!!!!!!!!!

noooooooooooooooo!!!!!!! The last day before school starts!!!! ...and this semester... THERE’S NO MORE AIR-CON!!!!!!!!!! THE HORROR!!!!! how will I be able to survive...?????!!!!! T________T sigh. this holiday has been a complete failure. I didn’t manage to revise anything except amaths... I am so doomed for prelims... ahhhhhhhh... how did time fly by so fast?! let’s see.. first week of holiday, had lessons in school. second week, packing for kuantan, in kuantan. third week, I don’t know what I was doing... fourth week (this week), chionging homework and mock papers. omgomgomg. I’m going to die. ahhhhhhhhhh, I think I started panicking when I realised: there’s only 4 months left until o-levels...!!!!! what to do!!! *sob* HELP!!!! I’m baaaaaack!!!! From Kuantan!!! whee~~ XDDD keke, I know I haven’t updated for ages... but now, I’ll spam some pics!

ahhhh Kuantan was so nice! totally felt more like a class outing than an educational trip! I’m so glad I went! heehee, I bought some presents back too!! sihui!! when shall I give you your green present...? =P we should go and celebrate your birthday... even though it’s a bit late... 0.0 aahhhhh, so nice, so nice, kuantan was so nice!!!!! of course, not everything was wonderful. the WORST thing was, the public toilets didn’t have TOILET PAPER. and they STANK. awwwwwful!!! DDX and there was too little time for shopping! didn’t really manage to buy much stuff at all... haiz, so 可惜... the stuff were cheap too... T_T oh well! it was the most wonderful class outing I ever had!! really, we spent more time playing than learning! pranks calls in the hotel (pizza service, can’t believe I fell for that!!), gossip sessions until dawn (so tired, but so fun!)...^___^

of course, it was 3 days away from home... I missed my computer!!! ahhhh!!! yes!! did you know, SHINee’s going to have their comeback in July!!! omigosh!! I’m so excited!!! XD speaking of which, there was cca in school today, and my lovely juniors were nice enough to hold a farewell party for the sec 4s!! so touched...! (;_;) and guess what! they bought presents too!! eeeekkkk!!!!! SHINING presents!!

hehe, there’s something that makes me more excited than SHINee’s comeback... and that’s SS3!!! yeeeesssssssss!!!!!!!!!! it’s finally coming to singapore!!! omgomgomg!!! I’m so going to go!! XDDD but, I heard it’s going to cost a bomb... and hopefully, it doesn’t fall around exam period... but then, ss2 lasted from about june? july? of 2009 until april this year, so super junior might not be coming until next year... O.o well, as long as they come when I’m free, and it doesn’t cost too much, I’ll go! well, I’ll probably go anyway, so... XD ahhh, so excited... if only DBSK could stand together and sing together again, it would be complete... *__* hai.... it was so sad... the thanksgiving concert, just the 3 of them, they cried (TT____________TT), the whole stadium cried with them, and I watched them fancams and cried too... T_T ahhh, it’s so tough... you must stay strong...! the 3 of them sang this new song called ‘W’, and reading the lyrics, watching the video, just made my burst into tears because it was so heartfelt and sad... SUPER JUNIOR’S NEW SONG, MIINAH, FROM THEIR NEW ALBUM, BONAMANA. SFJDLKSDJLFKSJFDL. OMGOMGOMG. YEEEEEESSSSSS. This looks very promising! miinah is composed by yoo young jin, who’s the same person who composed ‘sorry, sorry’ ‘gee’, ‘ring ding dong’, etc, so I’m sure it won’t disappoint!! XDDD ahhhh, the full song will be out on the 10^th, which is TOMORROW!!! ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! COMEBACK ON MAY 13^TH!!! XDDD the teaser looks dark... black concept? I heard from somewhere that the song will be catchy, with ‘African beats’. reminds me of rdd... which is all good~ ^_^

ahhhh, I have missed super junior... so many things have been happening to them, but finally, a comeback! sigh, even though it’s only 10 of them, since hankyung has filed his lawsuit, kibum is doing his acting (seriously, that’s what the company says but I really haven’t heard anything about him at all.), and guess what? KANGIN IS GOING TO THE ARMY. like, wtf?! when did this happen?! it was only announced recently, and so suddenly... I was so shocked... it’s his own personal choice, but... 2 years... touch wood, 2 years later, suju might not even be around anymore... I mean, if it can happen to dbsk, it can happen to anyone... especially since suju members are slowly becoming less and less... ahh, I don’t want to think about it... T_T

I haven’t updated for so long!!! ahhh... XD just finished chinese and english prelims last week... sigh. chinese paper 1 ah, the 公函 topic damn hard... what 大耳聋thing, dunno what to write, so content super crappy... then the compo, 报章报道got 人口下降, 外国移民, the setter thought ss paper or what... =.= paper 2 was average... by that, I mean that my marks depend completely on whether I tikum answer correctly or not... aish... then english paper 1 quite okay, but the situational writing... big big word there, ‘write a report’, I happily go and write formal letter format... want to bang my head on the wall liao... T_T paper 2, super super SUPER hard. I got 心理准备 do badly already...

oral was the worst. english oral, too nervous, so the reading part stumbled over a few words... picture discussion was good, then conversation... about ‘a time when you were bored when listening to a talk’, something like that. what kind or conversation topic is that?! my mind literally went BLANK. I paused for very long, than opened my mouth, all the crap pour out. I actually said there was a time when I was attending this assembly program and the speakers were talking about how to use the internet safely... (there was no such time. I MADE IT UP.) and I said the speakers were boring, because they were using a powerpoint slide, and they were reading off the slide, so it was boring... like, HOW LAME IS THAT?! (isn’t that what teachers always tell students when they’re doing a ppt presentation?! it is...)but it was the only thing I could think off... the more I paused (because I had to think), the more nervous I got... until I lost track of what I was saying just kept repeating the same thing... oh nooooooo... T_T anyway, I must have sounded quite pathetic, because the teacher started smiling (I don’t think it was an encouraging smile, more like a ‘you sound so ridiculous I can’t help but smile’ kind of smile), and then, you know, sometimes, when you’re so nervous, you start to laugh? when the teacher started smiling, I started to laugh, and that was the end for me. sigh. ohhhh my goooood... how could I laugh during oral???!!! ahhhh!!!! T_T if o-levels also like that, I am going to fail ah... chinese oral was MUCH MUCH easier, and it’s not only because mdm tee was the examiner, the conversation topic was on 青少年! so easy~

haiz. I don’t think I want to see my english oral results liao... it will be so, so bad... TT_TT ahhh, forget it...

sigh. I’m so jealous... some of my classmates actually went to resorts world sentosa yesterday... to see ZUNO and JUNSU!!!!! yes! dbsk’s xiah junsu and his twin brother junho(who is like a whole head taller than him, aha ^^)!!! ahhhhh... what I would give to see junsu sing live... \ToT but it’s super expensive, like almost twice of what I paid to see shinee... I don’t have that kind of money, so... sigh. junsu left for japan (probably) yesterday, so I can’t even go to the airport... and I didn’t go when they came either... so near, yet so far... oh well. one day, when I visit to japan or korea, I will make sure I get to see them!!! one day... ahhh, kim brothers hwaiting~ ^^

I had a long long week... tests practically every day... T_T good news is, I only had to stay back late one day, which is friday, for ss test! it felt so good coming home early again... I can take afternoon naps again...! ^^ sadly, I have a feeling I’m going to flunk my ss mock paper VERY BADLY. oh well. zzz

yesterday, I went out... to kino! ahhh, I bought my anan magazine, with my 宝贝 on it... *o* *in heaven* keke, I actually even called to reserve a copy, because I knew it would be sold out!! (it was! lucky I reserved~) ahh the people there must be wondering who this crazy person who called like 3 times to ask if the magazine was in stock... heehee~ but it was worth it! the pictures are wonderfully and amazingly beautiful! XD plus, it was like cheaper than expected! I thought it’d cost like $20 for something, because jap mags usually cost around there, but it was only $11 plus!! wow... thank goodness anyway, or I might have to go hungry for the next week... ehh, if it really cost around $20, I might not have bought it (which would have wasted my trip... =.=), so I was lucky...

I passed by a Cotton On shop on the way too, and they were having a really huge sale... I bought a pair of shoes for $10~ *happy* ^o^ I’ve been wanting new shoes for ages... aaaand... I’ve cut my hair!! now, my fringe is really short... it looks... weird. T_T ah, I wanted to cut my fringe because it was too long, but now that it’s short, it look weird!! ahhh... O.o anyway... it’ll grow back... one day...

aha, I won’t be updating my blogskin this month, I guess... oh well, it’s nice as it is~ sigh. cca came to an end for me last week... yep, since it’s the sec 4’s time to step down, no more cca... ahhh, I will miss everyone!! DX the terribly sad thing is, cca will now be replaced with remedials!!! noooooooooo!!!!! TT_TT I will die if I reach home at 6 everyday... that’s like half the day spent in school!! of course, I don’t have remedial for every subject, so I guess it’s not every day... bleah.

haiz. terribly sad news these past few days... sigh... toho will be away for awhile, but I know they’ll come back eventually, better and stronger, right? I haven’t updated for a looong looong time... mianhe... T.T but I shall write some interesting things that happened for the past couple of weeks... first of all, last tuesday night, my block caught fire. yep. the fire engine even came. I was sitting in my room, studying, when suddenly, I smelled smoke! my whole room was filled with smoke! I thought someone was burning paper, but the smell was so strong, I could even see smoke around my house... I went to my kitchen, but nothing was burning. my pa thought maybe someone’s flat was burning, so we went down to the void deck to look... lo and behold... a mattress someone threw downstairs had apparently caught fire, and the firemen had just put out the fire... so it was all wet and chao da looking... as in, a whole corner of the void deck was BLACK, like this:

yeah... that certainly doesn’t happen everyday... I bet someone was smoking there and threw the cigarette on the mattress... how irresponsible... =__=

anyways. my school’s CO concert last Sunday! at republic poly. went there super early, and we couldn’t even go in yet. -.- anyway, I sat there for like three hours just seeing and hearing them play. some parts were interesting, but some parts I really felt like sleeping... the worst part was that I was HUNGRY through out the show. I mean, it starts at like 5.45 and ends at 8.30pm. too early for dinner, and too late for dinner. horrible. DX anyway, I don’t think I’ll ever attend such concerts again. I mean, the music is nice and all, but there isn’t really much to SEE... and it costs money too... XO I’d rather go to concerts where people sing and dance... *coughshineesjdbsksconcertcough* no offense to all CO peeps! XP I like CO music, I just don’t like sitting 3 hours with an empty stomach... ^_^

after the concert, I went to lot 1, but they didn’t sell toho’s album!! DX roar! but they did sell shinee’s y.o.u album, the one and only copy, for like $25.95. so expensive. I’m going to buy it online, because yesasia sells it for like $16 plus only... I’ll buy it, soon... T.T anyway, I went to west mall the next day after school. the popular there still has stock of toho’s album!!! ahhh!! I’m relieved... ^^ although it’s good that so many people are buying it until there’s practically none left (I went to causeway point yesty, it was completely sold out there too...), it’s not good if I can’t buy it in Singapore... buying japanese albums online is waaaay more expensive than here... sad. I wanted to buy boA’s best album, from long ago, but it’s probably sold out ages ago too... TT oh well~ I saw the y.o.u album at west mall too. the funny thing was, there was the pass for the imm fanmeet stuck on the front, and a ‘not for sale’ printed on it... beside that was the price tag~ LOL, unbelievable!! ^o^ this clearly means those 3000 albums they offered at imm weren’t even sold out... ahh, maybe I should have gone after all~~

as I was paying for my precious album, I saw this magazine with snsd on the cover... I wasn’t planning to buy it because I’m not really a fan of snsd, but when I picked it up, this little booklet with SHINee and Hello Baby on the front dropped out. me: omo!!! I bought the magazine immediately~ ^__^ I flipped through it on the train, and every page was filled with kpop stuff... ahh, I think the people on the train thought I was crazy because I think I was smiling until my face hurt... when I reached home, the first thing I did was to open my precious album. ahh. I turned it around for about 5 minutes before opening the cover... and the first thing I saw was my jaejae~~ *o* and I remembered reading somewhere that each album comes with one random card. ahhh, I’m so happy, I got JAEJOONG (我的宝贝阿~~) out of the 6 random cards... lucky~~!! 这就是缘分~~! ^__^

went around the bukit batok area around my school on tuesday, distributing flyers for the annual newspaper collection. basically we just went around and stuck pieces of paper around void decks to inform the residents... we’d just finished like 1or 2 blocks (out of like 17 blks...) before it started raining. no, wait, it didn’t rain. the pacific ocean evaporated and poured over my head. that’s more like it. see, it was pouring so heavily all the drains were literally exploding:

I walked past five drains in that exploding state... =.= horrible. perhaps someone should do something about that... needless to say, my shoes and socks were so soaked it felt like I was wearing a sponge. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. DX but for the sake of cip hours (which I feel should be doubled for making me suffer in the rain)...

then yesterday was sports day, held at millinia (dunno how to spell -.-) institute. suuuuper boring. just watching people running up and down the field. yeah, only running. didn’t even have like javelin or that discus thingy... it was supposed to end at 11, but it lasted until noon. DX thank goodness I knew it would be painfully boring, so I bought my MAGAZINE. yay~ =))

aaand, that’s all! I’m happy it’s a holiday today~~ AND! Hello Baby won’t be ending so soon after all! I heard there’ll be an episode later featuring 2pm... I think little yoogeun would be rather intimidated when he sees 2pm... =.=’’ but he can always hide behind his shinee appas!! ahhh, I can’t believe its already friday... T_T where did my holidays go? I barely touched my homework... but still, it was a wonderful holiday... kekeke... ^^ SHINee~~ sigh... if they come back, I will surely go and see them again!! XD

ahh, I also went to Sentosa on monday for the 4e2 class outing...

and on tuesday, I went to southern ridges, around mount faber there, for cca outing...

I’ve been busy... =.= and I think I spent wednesday uploading all my pictures and videos, and thursday was spent glued in front of the com... ahhh, that’s how my holidays flew by in the blink of an eye... TT

ahh I am so sorry for the slow update... TT it’s been a super busy past few days... VERY eventful indeed. let’s start with... 13th March 2010, in detail because I want to remember this day forever!!

ah, that fateful day... started out veeeery sloooly. then. it was FINALLY 4pm. AH! I rushed out to meet sihui at the bus-stop near her house... the bus came just as I was reaching it, but I managed to run in my heels... that was the start of torture for my poor feet... (T.T) but, I was SO VERY EXCITED!!!!! ^^ in a few hours time... AAAHHH!!! XD sihui’s friends were meeting us at the mrt station, and sihui’s friends also brought along another two friends so there was a pretty large group of us... -_-‘ of course, we took the mrt to marina, and I had to stand all the way... (my feet! TT)

we alighted at city hall, and sihui’s friends led the way... but, on our way, a horrible thing happened. HUMAN TRAFFIC JAM. NOOOO!!! it was lot 1 all over again!!! DDX sweaty, stinky people squeezing me like sardines in a can! =.= sihui and me got separated from the rest... and we were moving centimeter by centimeter, squished against the wall... ;_; at first, I thought it was some celebrity stupid enough to walk about and get noticed by everybody that caused this havoc... but this other girl was who was also stuck with us, probably also on the way to WATCH SHINee, told us it was because of some IT fair thingy... arrgghh! I was so afraid that we’d spend the next 5 hours stuck there and completely miss the whole thing... TT but anyway, we survived (somehow... =.=) and caught up with the rest. when we finally reached marina square (shinee was here to buy presents for yoogeun!! ahhh!), sihui’s nice friend’s sense of direction seemed to vanish completely and we went round and round, bingeul bingeul, until I thought we were never going to reach the venue... panic panic! XO but we found the exit in the end and it was raining outside... the marina float place was just across the road!! ahhh! reaching!!

we couldn’t bring outside food in so I had to stuff all my nice food into my mouth... TT but they were actually selling food inside!! how mean! they threw away people’s food and made them buy their food to earn money! DX ahh, but I didn’t buy anything, because I didn’t want to go to the toilet. I mean, what if I missed SHINee while stuck in the toilet? that would be a nightmare... anyway! the mosh pit was FABULOUS! after that horrible human jam, the mosh pit was positively spacey! it was wonderful! sadly, sihui’s friends had to separate from us because they were sitting above. but but!! we were SO CLOSE TO THE STAGE!!! ahhhhhhhhhhh!!! SO CLOSE!!!!! sihui and I stayed to the side, because the center was a bit cramped. anyway, we were close to the backstage entrance place, so when the performers left the stage, they’ll walk past, and if you’re lucky, you can REACH OUT AND TOUCH THEM. *o* a few nice celebrities, like linjunjie actually touched the lucky fans’ hands... wow. well, when we reached there, there were already some rehearsals going on, so I took out my camera... and realised it the battery was flat... TT.TT thank god my phone was fully charged and had a decent cam... well, I won’t go into detail for each and every performance because it will take forever and I can’t remember anyway. what happened was this:

the actual concert started at about 7pm, and there was the red carpet event, introducing the stars (OF COUSE SHINee GOT THE LOUDEST CHEERS. OMGOMGOMG THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME I SAW SHINee AHH KEY WAVED AHHH!!!!!!), then afterwards, they started giving out the awards, and the performer(s) who received the award would perform a few songs... it was a pretty long wait for SHINee... but there was space to sit down (can you believe it?! ^o^ v), so I sat down when I was tired... many people performed... you’ll just have to refer to the pics and vids because the only one I’m describing is SHINee’s!!!

it was almost 11pm before they finally came out... and wow. the SCREAMS. SHINee started with Noona Neomu Yeoppeo (Replay) remixed. OMG, they were so close, I could see jjong’s muscles (I love his outfit the best!!! *o*), key’s eyeliner, and omg I really wonder how much gel was used to style his hair... but it looks NICE of course. minho and onew were wearing similar outfits, and wow minho was so tall!!! and handsome and charismatic!!! *o* onew was so nice and leader-like and his voice was super good live! of course, jonghyun’s voice was POWEFUL and WONDERFUL and ahhhh!!! XDDD taemin was wearing really really shiny pants and shoes!! kekeke, they were a bit distracting sometimes! ^^ aaah, I was so excited seeing them perform live, I didn’t know if I should take pics or vids, so I ended up taking the video in two parts and some pics...

after Replay, SHINee went to receive the award for new generation artiste (I think it’s called that... though I have never heard of such an award... =.= but if it brings SHINee here, make more such awards!!! XDD) ahhh, they spoke a bit of chinese too, repeating after the mcs... ahhh too precious!!! and I will always remember, I distinctly saw taemin turn to our side of the stage, and smiled his famous adorable eyesmile!! I could even see his eyes curving and it was 100 times cuter than on screen!!!!! aaaaahhhh! even though I didn’t take a picture, I will remember that forever... *o* aahh, onew was so friendly and enthusiastic, and key! key kept waving to the audience and he was so nice and friendly, ahhh!!! but then, I think key is very popular here... a lot of the fans made signs with key’s name, and this fan standing near us even drew this huge cardboard key... as in the one you use to open locks... LOL. ^^ ahh, minho was oozing charisma... I could seen his gaze... FLAMING CHARISMA XD sadly, jonghyun seemed to be a bit moody that day... ahh, blingbling, you must smile more... T_T *heartbroken* but, I’m sure he didn’t mean to look moody in front of all those enthusiastic fans... I heard he had a stomachache (that must have been... uncomfortable...), I also heard he was pissed because of... the weather? it was too hot or something? but that doesn’t make sense because there’s summer in korea too... ahh, I guess we’ll never know, but at least he smiled the next day, at imm... ahh how could he not, when thousands of (over-enthusiasic...) people were singing (more like screaming probably) a birthday song for him? (although, it’s a BIT early, if you think about it...) ahhh I’m so jealous!! I want to see jonghyun smile too... ahh, but I already got to see SHINee perform, and I won’t be greedy...

anyway! where was I? oh, yes, after receiving their award, SHINee performed JOJO and RING DING DONG. omg, I really started screaming as soon as the opening notes of jojo played, because I never thought I’d actually get to hear this song live!! it’s one of my favourite songs!!! *o* it was X10000000 more beautiful live and when jonghyun started singing... ahh, I floated to heaven~ anyway, I took a full video this time! ahh, my fancam actually turned out quite clear and not too shaky! ahh, I’m so so so happy!!!! after jojo was, as expected, the GRAND FINALE, RING DING DONG!!! ring ding dong ring ding dong ring diggy ding diggy ding ding ding~~ kekeke, I sang along to all the songs... ahh, I’m so sorry, SHINee, I have a feeling all the fanchants sound super disorganized... TT I took a video of ring ding dong too!!! hehe, whenever SHINee turned to our side, all the fans went wild and started waving like mad~ lol, I think I was one of them... oops... =.= after their performance ended, I rushed to the side of the mosh pit, where you could see them walk past to the backstage area... a lot of fans had their hands stretched out, hoping to touch them... I’m not too sure if I was one of them... -.-‘ but I did try to take close-ups, and failed miserably because they were walking too fast and everyone was pushing... oh well. seeing them is enough.~~ ahh, SHINee-oppas, I adore them so much more now that I have had the chance to actually experience their shining stage presence live!!! ^^

well, after that, sihui and I actually left before the whole concert ended, because it was super late and we needed to catch the train... but then, while walking to the mrt, yilin and wan ting messaged me to say SHINee came out again!!! noooooo!! XO I missed the chance to see them again!! TT_TT ahhh, silly me, I should have waited just a few more minutes... they said key was really nice and waved and smiled a lot... ahhh, key-oppa!! TT sigh. but I think they just came out for a while, and then it ended... oh well, I saw a lot of SHINee already, so I guess I’m satisfied~

I reached home after midnight, and it was really dark and quiet... I fell asleep as soon as I hit the bed. =.= my poor legs... and my EARS. we were standing very close to the speakers, and it was SO LOUD. my ears were still a bit funny before I fell asleep... thank goodness I was whole and normal again the next morning...

and so! that was 13th march 2010. the day I attended the Singapore Entertainment Awards 2010 and saw SHINee for the very first time in my life. in fact before last Saturday, I never even saw a celebrity before in my entire life, but on Saturday night, my life was suddenly filled with so many shining stars... ahhh~~ *o* I will never forget that wonderful night!!!

another 6 more days till I see SHINee... ahhhhh!!! they’re going to imm on the 14th too, for an album showcase thingy... should I go? the first 3000 can get to see them... but after that time at lot 1 dare I try my luck again...? DX and 3000 people is a lot... I’m sure shinee’s singapore fanbase has grown ever larger since the last time they came... ahhh. it will be SUPER crowded. probably 3 times as crowded as the last time... *facepales* ahem. anyway. it doesn’t really matter whether I go or don’t go, since I’m already CONFIRMED going to be seeing them on 13th march unless some unforeseen disaster happens ~~like their plane getting hijacked or someone catching swine flu~~... aaaaand, according to the shineesingapore website, they’ll be performing 3 songs!!! aaahhh!!! \^o^/ I bet they’ll sure perform ring ding dong... *o* aah, I should go early... I need to stand in front so they I can take lots and lots of pictures... ehe. ^^ I guess I’ll only go to the imm thingy if there’s anyone who wants to go with me... >o>

lalalalala~~ nothing interesting has happened to me lately. I guess last time was more than enough. ohhh, actually something interesting happened last thursday, but I wasn’t there to witness it... oh well. and the teachers are really making a mountain out of a molehill... tsktsktsk. but it’s not my problem~ keke. ^^ ehe, I really like my new blogskin! so colourful! do you? =)

anyway... as I said nothing particularly interesting has happened. what can I blog about...? maybe this will put a smile in everyone’s face!

which reminds me... about a couple of weeks from now... my world will be SHINee-ing. this time, I must definitely see them! I will take lots of photos! and videos! oh, but how do I take both at the same time...? anyway! counting down the days!!! ^0^

I wonder, is 東方神起’s Best Selection 2010 on sale in Singapore already? I haven’t had time to go out lately... I really want it! ahhh, they’ve broken so many many records with this... top-selling foreign artist in japan! even better than bon jovi and backstreet boys! omo! plus, top selling album in the world this week! the whole WORLD! I’m so proud!! there’re still at the top of the oricon charts as well! \ToT/ hope they hit the 500k mark!! toho がんばって!

but... *checks wallet cries* I have this long list of cds and dvds that I really want... sometimes, I think I should just download all the songs online, but it’s not the same somehow... you can’t hold it, see it, hug it, whatever... and anyway, I’d feel better knowing that the artiste actually earns... besides, downloading music without paying is ILLEGAL. so... I have no choice but to save...でも! I still have my 红包钱! ^^ I shall go shopping soon!!!

ahh, the kpop world recently exploded... I do feel so sorry for 2PM and all the Hottest, some of which became ‘coldest’... (antis...) at this rate, there might not even be a 2pm soon... which would be terribly sad, because I quite like them. well, all the best to hottest. no matter what happens to your idols, think about the reasons you love them in the first place. in any case, it’s quite ridiculous to turn your backs on the very people you’ve adored and supported for so long... but since I’m not a really really big fan of 2pm, I shall just wish them the best of luck... for me, DBSK, Super Junior (hyukie! get better soon! DX) and SHINee will always be loved!!! no matter what happens, ~~even if they do break up one day~~, they’ll still be the same people who put a wide smile on my face when I’m down, made me laugh until I cry, made so many precious memories for me... and that’s enough for me. =)

on a different note... I’m thinking. should I cut my fringe? (random, I know. =.=) like, cut bangs? I think it’ll look weird because my face is so round... no, I’m not trying to imitate any pop star... it’s just that I’ve been receiving a lot of threats from certain people who will ‘snip off’ my fringe if I don’t pin it up... (apparently my hair is ‘too messy’. really.) so maybe I need a new hairstyle... =.=

ahhhh, it’s been so long! and so many many things have happened since... very good things and very bad things... but first! let’s wish everyone Happy Chinese New Year!虎年到了啊... 新年快乐！恭喜发财! and more importantly, my $$$ is increasing... keke ^^ and it’s also valentine’s today! wow, how often does cny and valentine’s come together? probably won’t happen again in this lifetime... so happy cny + valentine’s!!!

now! it’s been an unbelievably long looong week... not only because of the excruciatingly painful wait for holidays to come round... but also because of some interesting things that happened at the start of the week... (warning –long post ahead! X0)

monday (in sch): it was assembly... I can’t even remember what they showed, but then this teacher came up and started yapping... this teacher’s identity shall remain anonymous, in case someone happens to read this... and she shall henceforth be referred to as The T. anyway, the T is a scary looking... person(?) with scary red hair and scary black toenails... oh, yeah, the assembly was about total defense. the T is an ss teacher, and she went on stage and started yapping about the importance of total defense... well, as she was talking, shuyi, lixing and amirah started giggling. to be honest, I had no idea what they were laughing about... but then, the T started waving her hands about (the passion for total defense, you know) and rambling about selling people in the market (wtf? =.=), and I started laughing (not even out loud, I just covered my mouth and laughed) as well, because you know, laughter is contagious... well, at that exact moment, the T happened to look my way and then – ‘YOU! YES YOU! WHAT IS SO FUNNY?! idbwfbwiufb I am going to see you later at the back of the hall!’ Oh CRAP. and so... later... a summarized version of what happened... (thoughts in italics ^^)

T: what was so funny? why were you laughing? don’t you understand the importance of total defense wfwhiublahblahblahfuiwfb...’ WELL? I asked you a question! why were you laughing?!’
me: um... because my friends were laughing and you were saying *mumblemumble*

and so... we went up to class and of course, there was a crowd waiting to hear what happened... then ms tan, my el teacher called to see me...

well, little was I to know that conversations like that will happen again soon...

anyway, to cut a long story short, me, lixing, shuyi and amirah spent the rest of Monday afternoon helping T decorate the foyer noticeboard. it is SO obvious that she was supposed to be the one doing it, but she made US do her work. SHAMELESS. we took down the old deco and put up new ones that she specially printed for us. like, she just printed some random stuff to pin up because she couldn’t find a better way to punish us. wtf. the process of taking down the deco and putting up new ones was fast. the rest of the time was spent waiting for T to finish printing and to come out and check our work so that we can GO HOME. we called and called the office but nooo she wouldn’t pick up the bloody phone even though we could all see her inside the office. made us WAIT and WAIT. purposely waste our time. I had chem spa the next day and reached home at 5 plus. you can imagine how MISERABLE I was. monday was supposed to be an early day, no need to stay back, but look what happened! just for laughing, I got punished!

mon night (later, home): no mood to do work, on com, happened to go shineesingapore website, see ‘SHINee is coming back.’ mind: blank. dot dot dot. OMFG!!! my mood went from waaaay low to waaaay high. I swear, I started screaming... really! since my parents will give me weird looks if they see me squealing like crazy at my com, I picked up my phone and squealed at goshie instead.... ahhhhhhhh, my shinee is coming back! THEY ARE COMING BAAAACK!!!! ... when I finally calmed down a little, I had dinner, then ran back to my com. went straight to the sistic website and got front row tickets! aaaahhhh! I literally dragged my daddy to the com and got him to pay by credit card.... and for goshie’s ticket too ^^ just in time! less than an hour later, all the mosh pit tickets were all GONE. woot. in your face T!! to prove that I was wrongly punished, I was rewarded with none other than SHINee!!! aaaahhhhh!!! XDDDD hahaha, even though I have no idea why they’ll be attending the singapore entertainment awards, as long as I get to see them, I will be happy... especially after the HUGE disappointment last time... of course, fingers crossed that they’ll perform RING DING DONG!!! ahhh I feel hyper just thinking about it again... just one month away... whew. you know, I think sm finally realised that there was actually a country between malaysia and indonesia... and seeing how many fans turned up when shinee came the last time, they’re probably back to ‘build a stable fan base’ you know... which leads me to think. will they be holding a fan meet next time? like ft island? omo! if they do, then I must go... ohhh, but my $$$... but! if it’s a fanmeet, it will be so much more fun! did you see the ftislands one? ALL the fans who went got to shake the members’ hands, hug them and take pictures with them! ohhh, if shinee also had a fanmeet... *dreams* I’m going!!! ぜったい!!! \*o*/ ahhh, maybe I should have bought the $20 ticket after all... oh well. I shall take more close-up pictures to make my money’s worth! ohhh, but I don’t want to stand for 5 hours either... I don’t get it... I pay more than trice the amount and I don’t even get chairs? ahhhh, we’ll find a way to solve this problem... maybe can sit in the toilet or somewhere (there has to be free chairs somewhere RIGHT?) until the nice acts come out... or SOMETHING. WHO CARES. I’m seeing SHINee!!!!!!

well, that was monday for you. thank god the rest of the week was boring. or I would have died from hyper-ness. ...I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a week as long as this one... it’s always like that. when the first day of the week is so exciting, the rest of the week become loooooong... until friday. oh, no. wait. on thursday, something interesting happened as well. I was on my way down for recess...

well. what’s gotten into all my teachers these days? do I look that pressured? maybe it’s because I don’t get enough sleep at night so I look a bit tired in class.. I should get my beauty sleep... in any case. I think the teachers are crazy. if they keep on like this, I really WILL become pressured by sheer annoyance... ppfffft. sorry to disappoint my dear teachers, but as long as I get 6A1s for my o-levels, I’m pretty much satisfied. let those foreign student bring the school glory for all I care... I will IGNORE all annoying teachers. buh-bye. =P

anyways! friday! we had a cny concert, really nice. got CO, chinese dance, and some of the xinjiang scholars put up a performance, daaaaaaaanm nice! ^^ then... NO MORE SCH!!! yayayayay!! and that was my week!

ahhhh, long post.... oh, oh! this week’s hello baby was sooo cute (as usual! ^^) ahhh, I look forward to each week’s episode so much... sadly, key will be away for a while... ;_; ahhh, I hope he’s doing okay... key hwaiting! =D which reminds me! key and minho both graduated from high school recently! *clapclap* graduation pics! don't they look spiffy~

*o* now, why don’t schools in Singapore allow us to have hairstyles like that? pinning up every strand of hair doesn’t make us any smarter. in fact, if you tie up your hair too tightly, it’s bad because it destroys your brain cells or something (okay, I made that up...=.=) but seriously, if you dye your hair after graduation, you aren’t even allowed to get your o-level cert... at least, in my school. geez. in korea and japan, you can dye your hair and no one will attempt to shave your head... in america, you don’t even have to wear uniforms! I mean, I wouldn’t mind if I had uniforms as cute as those in korea and japan... arrggh. conclusion: schools in thy country have ridiculously backward and useless rules. =.=

sigh. right now, shinee’s probably up in the air somewhere. in an airplane of course. they left straight after their concert today. sigh. of course I didn’t go to the airport. now, they’re really gone. they came, they left, I never saw them. I heard there was an autograph session after yesterday’s concert... I should have gone... ahhhh. T.T I’m so sad... because shinee will probably never come again for a long, long time, probably never. if I want to see them again, I’ll have to go all the way to korea, which won’t be happening anytime soon. sigh.

yesterday was totally depressing. when I reached school, one of my classmates was crying, because never get to see taemin... in fact, no one from my class managed to see shinee at all... except maybe the top of their heads or something, which is better than me, at least. such a depressing mood. at the bus stop, also got people talking about shinee, at the canteen also got people talk about shinee... hear already become even more sian.

ah. at least I need to thank those people who didn’t go and don’t really understand why I’m so crazy about shinee but tried to cheer me up anyway... kinda heartening to see them get angry on my behalf also... but then, I told them all about my tragic experience, down to every tiny detail, so I guess anyone would think it was unfair... I mean, they didn’t even let us SEE shinee!! they never said only 1000 people could SEE them! how can like that? aish... I shall not rant again... I’m just going to say the same thing again and again.

I can’t believe some crazy screwed-up idiots actually went to lot 1 yesterday just to pour water and tear shinee’s banner or poster or whatever that thing is called. I didn’t go there (I don’t think I’ll even go to lot 1 for a while. bad memories, you know...), but I got sources from huier, who went there with her friend to take pictures of the place, really saw some crazy anti-shinee girls POUR WATER ON MINHO AND KEY’S FACES, and sihui said her friends saw some people go tear the poster or something... STUPID ANTIS. if I was there and saw them doing that, I’ll make sure they can never tear anything again in their miserable lives... how can anyone even hate shinee? I mean, if you don’t know them, not interested, I can understand, but what’s so nice to hate about shinee? huh? they got so 讨人厌 ma? lucky no one took pictures of them, if not they sure kana hunted down by shinee fans...

aish. I think shinee is still up in the air. sleeping probably. hope they had fun in singapore, since they probably won’t be visiting in a long long time... those fans who got to see shinee, really lucky... me, I can only watch them from a screen now. shinee ah, even if I don’t get to see you, also never mind de... super junior got a lot of members here and there, some cannot perform, they also cannot even come to singapore, worse right? dbsk got big big problem, never even perform in korea, of course won’t come singapore, worse right? right, shinee still no problem, hopefully forever no problems, maybe one day can still come, right? right...

sigh. I woke up at 5 am today. went to lot 1 with si hui, filled with anticipation. little did I know that today will be a memorable day indeed. in all the wrong ways.

we queued at the mcdonalds there, until like 8.30 plus. but I called aqillah while we were waiting, and she said need some bloody queue number, said NO MORE liao. so I go there at 6.30am, TOO LATE TO GET AUTOGRAPH. DEPRESSING. no autograph, already wan cry liao. that’s when things started going downhill.

at 8.30am, the mcdonalds there was super squeezy. as in, SUPER-DUPER-SQUEEZY-LIKE- YOU’VE-NEVER-BEEN-SQUEEZED-IN-YOUR-LIFE kind of squeezy. some crazy idiots went and forced open the glass auto doors until the whole damn thing spoil or break or something, then people started chionging in. no, more like STAMPEDING, like how those wild animals stampede in those nature documentaries you see on tv. I was pushed, pulled, squeezed until cannot breathe. poor sihui was somewhere behind me, also squeezed... well, I was finally pushed inside, and I ran straight up, because everyone behind was running up, and if I don’t move, I’ll get trampled for sure. no kidding, for the first time in my life, I RAN FOR DEAR LIFE.

well, until halfway up the not-working elevators, anyway. that’s when I noticed my phone wasn’t on my wrist. CRAP. I ran all the way back to the door somehow, found sihui, started looking like crazy for my phone. asked the stupid security guard, you know what he said? ‘you expect me to go out and look for you? hah? you want me to go out? this is your responsibility blahblahblah.’ very helpful. anyway, after a few minutes of desperate, frantic searching for my phone, which is BARELY A FEW MONTHS OLD, by the way, sihui got the idea to call my phone. thank god someone found it, and we rushed up to lv 4 to get my phone. somehow, the elevators to the rooftop garden were sealed up, so one could go up, all crowed around there.

anyway, I was in a bit of a shock. almost lost my phone permanently, you know. go home, sure kana killed. thank god for kind souls. so yeah, cannot go up, me and sihui went back down, to less crowed places, where there’s AIR. wait, wait, until dunno 9 plus or 10 plus, some guy use the stupid useless hailer announce something, nobody can hear, but some people started running down, so I literally dragged sihui down, and we went back out of lot 1. right, exactly. we went in, did nothing, went out again. damn lot of people outside, so many queues, dunno all for what. we went to the queue beside the lrt, and it was like, snaking 3 TIMES, all the way to the entrance. that time, I still thought, no autograph, never mind. maybe still can get album, right? so with that hope, we queue, queue... then huier came at 10 or 11 plus, cannot squeeze her way to her friends, so queue with us.

we queue until the u-turn part, then need to squeeze AGAIN liao. so sihui said she don’t want to queue, she go comics connection first... well, I should have went also. really cannot balme her, I also dun wan to squeeze again... T.T but I really, really wanted to see shinee! just one look only... so we queue, me and huier. until the place against the wall there, super dirty, because those people sit there just now throw all the macdonalds drink, wrapper, super disgusting. when we finally reached the staircase, the one at the side of the building, the security people said, ‘AUTOGRAPH SESSION OVER. GO HOME.’ ya, that’s exactly what they said. I mean, WTF, it’s only 11.30am, shinee isn’t even supposed to have reached yet! so me and huier quickly run to the entrance, because a lot of people move away liao, we ran up all the way to lv 4 the elevator there. squeezed into the foodcourt there.

so we wait some more lor. wait until 2pm plus. don’t even know whether shinee come liao, don’t know anything, cannot see anything, cannot hear anything. people keep screaming randomly, keep chanting ‘shinee, shinee’ and ‘let us up, let us up’, super siao. then got some stupid cameraman, keep taking pictures of the crowd. like very funny like that, see us like ants, desperately wanting to just catch a glimpse of shinee... supid security people also keep walking in and out the door on top, then every time the door open people will scream like mad... luckily my there got chair, can sit down. anyway, at almost 3, huier’s friend say shinee come, sign finish liao. aqillah also say sign finish liao. they came, they sign, and we still never see them. huier left to find her friend, because I think end liao. I wait a while, then the security guard come down, say something like ‘no point waiting’, den I go the other escalator, the cinema there one. managed to squeeze up, then the doors there all close, cannot see anything also. then another security guard said what ‘the band has left the building’ right. I don’t even know what to feel. supid guard start screaming and shouting, spit vulgarities somemore, ask people faster move down, show over liao. but still got people think shinee still there, want to go up, so how we go down? no space! anyway, I was so fed up after that, I went home.

basically, several unfortunate things happened today:
§ I was too late to get shinee’s autograph because I couldn’t get a queue number because I saw a lot of people queuing but I didn’t know what the hell they were queuing for so I didn’t queue.
§ I was squeezed like I’ve never been squeezed in my entire life because a human tsunami literally happened.
§ my phone was lost somewhere in the human tsunami
§ I found my phone
§ I waited like an idiot while stupid photographers stood above us and took pictures and laughed at us for being so desperate and pathetic.
§ sihui left, huier left, shinee left, I left.
§ I spent 9 hours today feeling like a canned sardine.
§ I did not get shinee’s autograph, shinee’s album, or even a glimpse of their shadows.

this is not a bad pun or anything, it really happened. when I reached home, I realised I forgot to bring my KEY. amazing. thank god my ma was home. sigh. this has got to be one of the most miserable, depressing days of my life. to think, just yesterday, I was so ecstatic because I thought I’d get to see shinee at least, even if cannot get autograph...haiz. go home slept for the rest of the afternoon. if not I know I’ll cry the whole day one. so miserable... T.T at least I felt a bit better when I woke up.

I saw reports online, some people said at 1am already got 500+ people. huier’s friend 3am plus go, her queue number already 800+. guess even if I started queuing at 6.30am also no hope. but seriously, I heard people went at 11.30pm yesterday, still can get queue number! what the hell? didn’t they say no overnight? If I know, I yesterday night go take number, come home sleep, then next morning go again lor! what the heck! SO UNFAIR! and some people queue the wrong queue, got ticket number still cannot go up, because too many people, got chased away by the security guars, who said ‘numbers don’t mean anything’. the security people really need to be fired like asap. the organizers did a horrible job. they could have at least screened the whole thing on a big screen, then people can watch live right? as it was, I think got screen on some tiny tv, no sound one, I don’t even know where. seriously, I didn’t see any shinee. nothing, nil, zilch. they came up by gawd knows where, not the escalators because no one saw them. I think probably from the lift at the carpark there, got lead to the rooftop. or the stairs. damn, I should have gone to the carpark! at least maybe there can see...

by the way, the album costs $60. yeah. it’s daylight robbery. I didn’t even bring that much money. heard some people who got autographed albums tried to sell them at $200+. these people should really just go to hell. come here get album to make money? I want the album because I like shinee, and these people make use of shinee to earn money? wth? how can people like that deserve to see them when I can’t?! *cries* now, I’ll probably never get a chance to see any celebrity ever again, let alone shinee, let alone at lot 1. at lot 1. so close, and I didn’t even make it. how could it turn out like this?

sigh... I feel so miserable... at least, it didn’t rain. lucky people who got to see them. seeing the vids, I think shinee looks pretty happy. good for them... I’m sure they feel the overwhelming love Singapore fans have for them. it’s not their fault thousands of people like me turned up at the break of dawn and still couldn’t get a glimpse of them. it’s all the stupid organizers fault. let people queue overnight, never say got queue number, never say where the queue is, try to trick us, make us leave... ahhhhh.

I guess if shinee had fun, I feel happy for them. just so sad I didn’t see them... oh well. hope they enjoy the remainder of their stay in our sunny island. they’ll probably never return. no sm artistes ever drops by, except shinee this time, which I failed completely to see. I’ll just have to live with the fact that I’ll always have to see them from my computer screen. bye, shinee. I will still adore you, even though I’ll never get to see you... aish. I can’t believe there’s still school tomorrow. I know sure got people like me, will complain like siao. and sure got some got the autograph... T_T I wan to cry again liao lah...

Oh. My. God. tomorrow is THE DAY. I will be seeing my SHINee at lot 1, very very soon. I am going to go, even if the sky falls down, I am going! aaaaahhhh!!!! so many people from my school are going too... one of them is even going at 3am... is that even allowed? but seriously... I’ve been talking about nothing but shinee for the whole week... every other sentence has shinee in it... everyone who talked to me probably know by now that I am really crazy... ahhhh... I really must calm down...

let’s talk about something else... this week, I had 6 tests. I am still alive, only because I cannot die before I see shinee. history and ss, consecutively, yesterday. look at my horribly cramped schedule... it’s like all the teachers are competing on who can kill us first... T.T

bleah. at least I don’t have much homework this week. rejoice!!! ^^ but, sadly, I have amaths. when I see amaths, I see stars. speaking of ~~shinee~~ shiny stuff, just the other day, I was in the bus on my way home... the person beside and in front of me were both using the same phone as me... I feel so... common. my phone is not special anymore... so sad. ;_; I seldom saw anyone use the same model as my previous phone, but now... well, at least the problem is fixed because my phone now looks completely special! ^^ nice, ne?

hehe. cca was so fun yesterday. the sec 1s came. quite a lot of them too, so happy~ hopefully, they don’t, like, quit after one day or something. I mean, we had games and even a mini-party to welcome them... of course, the best part was when me, aqillah, peiyee and huier started talking about kpop, because peiyee wanted us to recommend some songs... of course, shinee alone got one long list, plus a lot a lot more... ahhh, shi hui and yen ting, kept saying ‘crazy... you are all so crazy...’ haha, kpop will do this to you one you start... ahh, I laughed so much, my face hurts... XD shinee ah... you are in singapore now... where are you? what are you doing? ahhhh, I want to see shinee now!!!

OMG. remember, in the last post, I was still wondering whether to go to the esplanade to see shinee or not? well, my dilemma has been solved all on its own! I won’t have to GO THERE anymore, because shinee’s COMING HERE!!! aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *_* to lot 1!!! LOT 1 leh!!! how often does a celebrity visit near my home?! I can’t even remember ever seeing any famous person before, and shinee will soon be the first celebrity I’m going to see with my own eyes! yes!!! my beloved shinee!!!

okay, breathe, breathe. *coughclearsthroat* alright, it’s just news I found on the internet. well, actually, I found it on facebook (the power of social networking) first, then at the shineesingapore website. well, it may not even be true, because I haven’t seen any details elsewhere, like advertisements or something... but still, signs are pointing to the positive side! anyway, I really cannot be more grateful for the details...

Fansigning at lot 1!!! this is like a dream come true... maybe I’m dreaming... when did I get so lucky?! aaahhh! XDDD I am so going to by the y.o.u album, then get it autographed by any random member... ehe, I must say, I will be super super lucky just to get an autograph, but I’m hoping to get either jonghyun or key... (oops, is my bias showing? =D) actually, I would really like it better if they could all sign, because its more complete like that... anyway... must bring camera!!! mine only 5.5 megapix or something... maybe I can get someone to lend me a better camera... I mean, I heard fans in korea carry stuff like this...

now that’s why all the shinee fancams are so clear... well, I can be a bit crazy, but no way am I going to carry stuff like those... scary...

anyway, I must go early!!! only the first 1000 people get their album signed! ohhh, that means I have to drag myself out of bed at the crack of dawn (not really...) on a sunday morning... but since it’s for shinee... I will be meeting si hui and her friend at 8.30am... (must remember to bring study notes or something to do!) maybe I should drag some of my classmates too... heehee. ^^

but really, I hope it won’t be crowded... I mean, what if it’s a repeat of lee minho’s visit? I saw pictures of the place... wow, I don’t think even an ant could squeeze through that crowd... so... hopefully, it will not be crowded. they said no overnight queing, but people might still crowd around... well, as long as I get my autographed album, I will be able to die happily when 2012 comes. oh, wait. I haven’t seen suju and dbsk yet!! I don’t want to die until I can see all of them perform, including shinee! because I don’t think they will perform at the fansign. is there even enough space?

sigh. what to do? I’m so nervous and excited... when they sign, what do I say? can they understand english? I think key and minho can... ahhh, what to do? do I bow and squeak thank you? do I say saranghae oppa, singapore is a lovely warm sunny island, feel free to take up permanent residence anytime? do I run away? what will they be wearing? will they look as good in real life as they do on my computer? ahhh, my brain doesn’t work quite right anymore!!!

so long since I last updated... been busy in school, especially last week, got to stay back until 5pm everyday because of crappy chinese enrichment... TT TT sigh. at least the homework isn’t piling up (yet). had ss test last friday. hope I did okay...

anyway, guess what? it’s SHINee-ing! here, in Singapore! shinee is coming next month!!!!! aaaaahhhhh!!! XDDD I am so super exicted!!! ...at least, I was, until I found out they’re performing on weekdays. well, it’s 7.30pm, at the esplanade, and it’s not exactly a shinee concert. it’s actually some kind of korean song festival, and they’ll probably just sing for like five minutes then disappear... T_T I mean, according to what I know, they’ll just be doing the BOF OST, which I’ve never even heard before. well, it is the esplanade after all... can you imagine them ring ding dong-ing in the esplanade? sooooo... go? don’t go? how?!

pros: I get a chance to see shinee perform, and since they might never come again, this might be the only chance I’ll get to see them, unless I fly to korea...
cons: I don’t want to pay $90 to see them perform for five minutes only... and I don’t think you can take pictures in the esplanade either. plus, it’s a weekday. I’ll probably be damn busy...

aaaahhhh!!! how?! (>~<)... I was thinking maybe I could go to the airport to see them when they arrive, but the airport is so far... maybe they’ll hold a tour soon and come perform here? I hope so... I heard there’ll be another sundown festival coming soon. apparently, they made it a bi-annual event, as in twice a year, not once every two years (I had to check the dictionary...). you know, like the one with brown eyed girls and ft island last year... don’t know if this year’s will feature Korean groups too? I demand that shinee, super junior and dbsk must come because I want to see them! (although it’s quite unlikely sj and dbsk will make it... T.T) oh, speaking of which. for $90, I might be able to fly over to kuala lumpur to watch super junior... on second thought, they should just cross the causeway and come here... it’s just a rock’s throw away... sigh. esplanade. go? don’t go? do I even have $90 to spare?!

ohohoho... it’s back to school for me today. my classroom has air-con!! hooray! ^^ hopefully, it’s our permanent class... the new form teacher, ms wu, is quite cool... I heard she was fierce, but I don’t really think so, just strict, maybe. time will tell. ^^ anyway, most of the other teachers are the same, or are teachers I’m already familiar with... so no surprises there. still have time to finish up whatever homework I have left... not a lot, since I did some today... ehe. pe tomorrow... I don’t want to take height and weight, because I know I grew in all the wrong places... T_T cca tomorrow too... gonna be a long day...

oh well. just finished sbs gayo daejun. yep, watched the whole concert. still got kbs and mbc gayo daejuns left. I wanted to watch last year, with the countdown and all, but too lazy to find livestream... zzz. anyway, I really love gayo daejun festivals! so fun! lots of artistes performing... but one per day for three days straight is exhausting. I’m slowly taking my time to watch... oh, yeah. I backtracked a little, and I saw last last year’s (2008, keep forgetting it’s already 2010 =.=) sbs gayo daejun got dbsk and boa... wow... wished I watched then... dbsk and boa were the very first k-pop singers I listened to (hence, among my favs), probably because they sing in japanese too... hehe. video spam alert! XD

I will never get tired of hearing this! but it’s kinda sad, I can see hankyung’s spot, right in the middle, and it’s empty... T.T sj hwaiting!

it’s 2010!!! wow... 2009 is gone, just like that... I can’t believe it! a whole new year, full of new promises and excitement... also sure to be full of mugging and studying and stress... ever the pessimist, moi... still, 2009 was a pretty average year for me, I guess. a bit hard to cope with being sec 3 at first, with all the new subjects and all, quite stressful, but I’m still alive... I also got to know about kpop this year, and now I’m happily addicted... ^^

anyway, it’s great that it’s a whole new year. well, I know I never keep them, but I guess I should list down some of my new year resolutions... but, before I get to that, let’s take a look at last year’s...

1. Exercise and lose weight! (would have worked if I hadn’t gained back everything during this holiday...)
2. Get straight As! (no straight As for me... TT)
3. Make more friends! (hmm, guess I did... ^^)
4. Write fan fics! (completely failed because kpop has overruled my anime fandom...)
5. Watch at least 5 anime! (I did manage to watch d.gray-man... that’s a feat, considering how long it is...)
6. Read at least 50 novels! (more like 15)
7. Keep my resolutions! (overall? FAIL)

oh dear... well, I resolve to try harder this year!

New Year Resolutions 2010:

1. Lose weight!!! I don’t care how!!!
2. Study more!!!
3. Get at least 6 As for O Levels!!!
4. Cut down on time spent on computer!
5. Save $$$ each month!
6. Try to exercise more...
7. Resist urge to own everything with dbsk/suju/shinee on it!
8. Stop daydreaming and doodling in class!!
9. Keep resolutions!

well, no guarantee that I’ll keep any, but がんばります!!!

hope this year will be better than the last! since it’s my last year in secondary school, guess I should make the most of it! dbsk and suju, must stay strong! I must also do my best and get good results, because I want to go to jc next year after all... must try and get 6 As for o levels! must work on amaths, combined humanities and chinese! must keep my resolutions! みんな, hwaiting! ~\^_^/~

hohoho! it’s christmas! yay! actually, I don’t celebrate christmas, so today’s just another day in my holiday for me... sadly, holidays are coming to an end soon... did I mention I still have unfinished homework? yeah... well, I plan to finish that by this year. as well as finish spring cleaning my room, finish watching coffee prince and finish the book I’m currently reading... because one should always start a new year afresh, right? ^o^ hopefully, next year will be a good and enjoyable year... though I doubt it. I bet it’s going to be super stressful, and I won’t even have time to use the computer because I’ll be buried in piles and piles of homework... *shudders* let’s not go there... anyway. I hope next year will also be a good year for ~~my precious lovable adorable idols~~, dbsk, super junior and shinee... fingers crossed! XO

oh nooo!!! help me! I’m having a panic attack! what to do? I was just looking at the calendar and thinking, ‘christmas is in 3 days, oh yay, even though I don’t celebrate, yay anyway... yay!!! ahhh!!! it came, it came!!! the albums I ordered came!!! whee!!! I was woken up this morning with a loud ‘POSTMAN!’, and climbed right out of bed (still half asleep =.=) to receive my parcel... wow, finally...

super junior's 'sorry, sorry’ and tvxq’s ‘o - jung.ban.hap’ and ‘mirotic’ albums... ahh I love all the songs on all the albums!! ^^ so wonderful... I spent the whole morning listening to them all... next time, I must buy shinee’s album... the shipping is free, and it costs about the same, or even cheaper than any normal album sold in singapore... although I couldn’t find a single suju or dbsk album in singapore... so I really went and bought the albums online almost a month ago... really 疯掉了ah... ^_^ but of course cannot buy too much at one go, no $$$, so I still don’t own any shinee album... T.T next time then...

ahem. anyway. you know there’s this show which aired like 2 years ago, called coffee prince? well, I just started watching it. yes, I know, I am always super 迟钝... it’s quite nice, actually. and I didn’t realise before, but the main actress is also the main in goong! waah, so long since I watched that... well, eun chan reminds me of haruhi from ouran high... yep yep, exactly the same type. hair, personality (a bit), poor, mistaken for a guy, etc. anyway, I started watching because I keep coming across coffee prince parodies on youtube (by sj, bigbang etc.) and have no idea what they’re acting, so I went to watch the drama... ^^ ahh, I wanted to watch some anime during the holidays, but looks like I won’t have the time to after all... and next year will be a busy year... sigh. sad, sad... I even have a long list of ‘animes to watch’ you know... long, long list... now, I have another list, called ‘dramas to watch’... oh dear... so much to do, so little time~~

waaahh~ cca camp is finally over!!! woah, it was exhausting... but quite fun.

day 1: west coast park. reached there waaay early, like 9.30 plus.. I’ve never been there before, not that I can remember anyway. lots of playground stuff there, like this huge jungle gym thing, which I climbed all the way up...

and a mini-flying fox thingy which was fun...

then we rented bicycles, cycled a few rounds around the park. not much scenery, though the breeze was nice. whee~ feels good after so long... can’t even remember the last time I cycled. lunch at mac, then back to school~ didn’t actually do much, huh, but still fun! back in school, there was the surprise farewell party for the seniors! yay! *clapclap* wow, after so long... we planned it like half a year ago... mmm, anyway, got pizza~ and that was the first day!

day 2: late!!! I woke up at like 8.45!!! omo! actually, my alarm rang at 7.30, but I smacked it off and went back to dreamland... anyway, I obviously can’t reach school in 15 minutes... so I rushed right out and managed to get a cab... (my $$$ TT.TT) but still late by 20 mins... anyway. we reached sentosa, and went to the nature discovery thing (FOC of course). so much for discovery. the only thing I discovered is that singapore is desperately deprived of wildlife. =.=

anyway. then lunch at foodcourt, and we headed to palawan beach to play! whee!

exhausted by the time I went back to school... why is the weather so hot these days? feels like I’m in a sauna! XO played some games in school until 4 plus, then home sweet home.

day 3: many people didn’t come because sick, sian, last minute go overseas etc. well, no outing anyway, just played some badminton, basketball, then movie session (scooby-doo where r u~ ^.^) then the end! that was my camp! it was pretty successful, considering that this is our first cca camp... hope next year’s will be even better! but then, of couese, because I won’t be planning! busy sec 4s next year... T.T

today, I woke up with my whole body aching. no, really. arms, legs, back. I’m really getting old... because of all the badminton and basketball yesterday... owwie... my poor painful muscles... I am really not a sporty kind of person. but I need to exercise, or I’ll get even chubbier... T.T

anyway. enough of my camp! if you like in singapore, you should know that the seoul’d out festival was held today! I wanna see brown eyed girls and ft island... but it’s too expensive, because it’s not actually a full concert. lots of artistes perform, but I only know these 2. oh well.

bleah. I don’t know what to write here anymore... what to do, what to do... I will just write any damn thing that I can think of then...

hmmm, I went out shopping yesterday... I actually went to west mall because I went there the other day and there was this sale, and shelves and shelves of shoes going for only $10! omo... but that day I didn’t have enough $$$, so I only returned yesterday, but... the sale was over... T.T tragic. anyway... I ended up going to lot 1 to window shop... and I realised something. how do you know when you’re famous? well, when you see your face on everything. I mean really, really everything. because I went to comics connection, and they were selling: calendars, notebooks, files, stickers, poker cards, keychains, cups, fans (those that you use to fan yourself, not the screaming type), rubric cubes, socks and gawd know what else... well, nothing weird about this right? nope perfectly normal, if you ignore the fact that all these stuff are covered with the faces of dbsk, suju, shinee, snsd, big bang, ss501 etc. no kidding. I really can’t imagine who’d buy those socks... =o= it’s really extreme... not to mention scary...

....but anyway, I did buy some stuff... heehee... (not the socks of course)

on another topic, I think I really reeeally shouldn’t have chosen such a crappy phone. not only does everyone else seem to have the same phone, it’s not particularly user friendly as well... I mean, the bloody stylus doesn’t even come out and I had to go all the way back the next day to change it! and it’s not even very pretty... I’m talking about nokia 5800 here, which I got for free... next time, remind me not the grab the cheapest phone I see... ehhhh, so now, I’m stuck with it for another 2 years, until the phone contract expires... T.T bleah, I want the lg ice-cream phone... looks so yummy... sigh, oh well...

I am going to have cca camp from thus to sat after all... why am I not excited? because it won’t even be a proper camp, because there’s no staying overnight. rather, you can call it 3 consecutive days of fieldtrips and activities. wow. you know, when they first announced they wanted a cca camp, I was really quite happy...

then they said: ‘sec 3s will be in-charge of planning!’ so after a lot of effort: ‘aiyoh, need a better reason for camp, or else the cca head won’t approve! why why why... what if it rains, how how how? blah blah blah...’ ‘senior! we cannot stay overnight because our parents don’t allow, and we also don’t want!’ riiight. anyway, you know what they say about a picture saying a thousand words? well, it’s a moving picture, but still... me being not a very patient kind of person, became...

well. plus, I’ve already been to sentosa twice this year. and I have to go again. arrggh. but since it’s all been planned and approved, might as well... it’d better not rain on me.

november is coming to an end soon... in a month, 2009 will come to an end as well... time flies so fast... and the worst thing is, my homework is not even half done... haiz... bleah. who cares, no one ever collects holiday homework anyway... at least I hope so. anyway, I’m going to be busy tomorrow! yep, I’m going to be spending the day at sentosa, because my uncle is coming with his family from Malaysia... but it’s one day and one night only. not that I mind, because I’ve already been to sentosa this year. and I might be going again in a few weeks’ time if the cca camp is still on... right. the point is, sentosa is getting a teeny bit boring... not to mention that I won’t be able to use them computer while I’m there... what will become of me? I’m in the middle of watching flower boys generation... I’m going to be deprived...

sigh, poor taemin... why are they all taking turns to fall sick? T.T sigh, hope he gets well soon... and key and minho better not be next or I’ll strangle them...

isn’t it ironic? they remixed the song and the lead dancer isn’t there to dance the bridge part... and is it just me or do they all sound exhausted? especially onew, at the beginning, looks like he didn’t practice the remix dance enough... and at the end he seems so pissed... he punched the air like 5 times or something... and jonghyun’s voice sounds so weak... his voice is usually so powerful... they probably didn’t even get enough rest when they were sick, and forced to perform the minute they got a little bit better... at least minho and key look okay... poor overworked shinee... the lousy mics don’t help either... please recover soon and don’t get sick anymore... = [ this has been a sucky year for all my favourite groups... well, suju is fine, with the exception of kangin, but dbsk... no need to elaborate there. shinee was doing fine until they started falling sick, one by one... this cannot go on...

everyone should smile like this again... 3 in 1, perfect~ I can even recognize most of their voices without looking! hooray! ^.^ this really cheers me up, and it also reminds me that I’ll be going to the sea tomorrow... well, I shall be of to pack now!

waahh, it’s been a busy week... cca on mon and thurs, shopping on wed and fri, open house in school today... exhausting! and I’m going out again tomorrow! wow... next week will be more relaxing, hopefully... sigh, actually, today, I went to school for about a couple of hours and just stood around doing nothing much... because I was on the second shift, there was not many people around anymore... bleah, at least this is the last time I’m going to be having cca for a while~

yesterday, I went to celebrate ginny’s birthday with sihui and liqing! ahhh, the lunch was super おいしい! ^o^ look! doesn’t it just make you drool?

we had yummy ice cream too, but I was so eager to eat I forgot to take a photo first... ^^;; oh well! we also saw this mr men performance for kiddies... lol, they were so HUGE! XD all round and roly-poly looking...

then after lunch, we went to kinokuniya to look around... aiiii, why are comics so expensive? I cannot afford to buy... but I do buy anyway, once in a while... ahem. then we crossed over to the cathay cineplex place... where we look neoprints!!! wow!!! I can’t believe this is the first time we’ve taken neoprints together after so many years... well. better late than never! I love neoprints! they are just so fun to take, and you can design them cutely... I would post them here... but they’re really tiny... I tried taking a picture with my phone (lol... -.-), but it’s too blur... anyway... they’re really かわいい! ^o^ after we took the neoprints, sihui and liqing had to go... sad... ;_; so ginny and I just walked around for a while more... we bought some nice notebooks from more than words... then we went home~ the bus was super crowded, had to stand all the way back... T.T maybe that’s why my legs ache so much... anyway, it was a nice day, and happy birthday ginny! the present I got her matches the shirt she wore yesterday... the monkey... lol... ^.~

the mnet asian music awards were held today! sadly, sm boycotted the event... but still! many of my favourites attended... like brown eyed girls, mblaq, 2ne1... and, the 3 members of tvxq who are free from sm! they even won an award! ahhh, I feel so happy and sad for them at the same time... fighting! this whole ordeal will end eventually... soon, I hope... anyway, guess what, super junior actually won quite a few awards as well, but they couldn’t attend... oh well. I hear beg is coming to Singapore soon! with ft island too! ahhh, I wanna go, but the tickets are too expensive... I am broke, you know... sigh, I guess I should save until I really need it, you know, if suju or dbsk or shinee ever comes... ever... then I will definitely go!! *dreamyeyed*

hooray!!!!! my holidays are finally here!!! ahahahaha! I’m so happy! I can stay at home and watch my dbsk and my super junior and guess what? I’m currently watching shinee’s yunhaman!! and since this is the first show I’m watching which features shinee, my first impression of them was.... hmm, cute? and funny! yup, and very 乖, like puppies! *pats and gives cookie* awww~ those noonas were so lucky! hanging out with shinee sure looks fun... XD haha~ I don’t have a particular favourite... because they are all so adorable... shinee hwaiting! yay! ^o^

anyway, what was I saying before...? oh, yes... my holidays... ahhh, I want to go shopping too!! I have saved up quite a lot of money this year... of course, I’m not going to spend all of it, but maybe I should wait for the christmas sales to start... there are always discounts at this time of year... ahh, so many things I want to buy! sigh... but I must also study hard, because next year will be a terrible year... whee! five more days more of ‘extended curriculum’... then I’m free!!! of course, there’s still cca, and there’s bound to be homework, but hooray! no more lessons! [INFO] 091103 Summary of the Judgment of JaeChunSu's Petition for Preliminary Injunction to Void Exclusive Contract

What JaeChunSu wants - their exclusive contract declared as null and void [i.e. ineffective]

Current stage of proceedings – Preliminary Stage, still needs to wait for actual trial

What was granted – temporary suspension of the exclusive contract + JaeChunSu can engage in independent activities + SM cannot compel JaeChunSu to participate in entertainment related activities (otherwise it has to pay $10,000,000 KRW per violation)

Why - “basic relationship of trust that is the foundation ...has already crumbled” (3B) and if the actual trial was prolonged, JaeChunSu would basically be receiving little or no income if they were not allowed to pursue independent activities

Why the rest of was not allowed – because possiblitiy that TVXQ may continue as a group + ratio of distribution of revenue are difficult to calculate (3C)

On the issue of 1,000,000,000 KRW – the reason why the Court needs JaeChunSu to pay a deposit (or a bond insurance) is because in the case where SM wins, the court has to ensure that they have enough money to compensate SM (it is a common practice to request the party with a weaker financial position to provide security)

VERY VERY Important points raised by the Court in its reasoning – On negotiating powers when accepting the contract – ONE SIDED
2B1 – The Court rejected SM’s claim that JaeChunSu has equal or superior negotiating powers in accepting the contract.
2B5 – “an extremely one-sided contract”

On the 13 years contract period – EXCESSIVE
2B2 – the earliest date the contract ends is 13th January, 2017 excluding the conscription period. On the length of the contract, the court commented it is the longest amongst all provided examples (apart from Boa and Yoo Young Jin’s 15 years)

On the amount of damages JaeChunSu has to pay if they terminate the contract – SLAVE CONTRACT
2B3 – court hints that it is unfair as SM can terminate the contract without itself paying damages
2B4 – court concludes that the provisions on damages goes more than the original intention (of compensating the injured party i.e SM)and instead “absolutely blocks the Petitioners [Jaechunsu] from exiting the Contract for the sole purpose of maximizing the profits of the Respondent [SM].”
“ By doing so the provisions act as a device to enslave the Petitioners to the Respondent for the abovementioned contractual period of 13 or more years and the court finds it difficult to sanction such them as they are” [seems like the court cannot help but agrees with the lay term ‘slave contract]
2B5 – court believes that such contracts does nothing but to solidify the monopoly of large entertainment companies in KoreaØ

Conclusion –The contract is “contrary to the public morals and social policy, or otherwise void because it exceeds what is rational for the length of a contractual term”
Unless SM modifies almost all of the important parts of the contract, including the contractual period and clause on damages in case of termination, this contract is likely to be void because it imposes on JaeChunsu an “unjust burden”.

Afternote – After the entering of the original contract (you can find the dates under 1C as listed in the table), there were 5 subsequent supplementary agreements. The last agreement is dated 6th February, 2009. [note from writer – this is the point of time where JaeChunSu claims they have not been receiving income therafter. It is unknown what amendment have been made which brought forward such claim]

CreBeau speaks about TVXQ and SM Entertainment issue

It seems we finally have word from the company that seems to be tangled in this mess.

When the TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki controversy first began, the three members and their lawyers clearly stated that the three members’ investments in the CreBeau cosmetics line did not have any relevance to the court case. The core of the controversy was the legal issues of the slave contract. In SM Entertainment's opening statement, they stated that the lawsuit was because of the cosmetics issue.

To clear up the confusion, Kang Suk Won, the President of the Korean branch of CreBeau (Wishop Plus) was interviewed. Kang has already sued SME’s CEO Kim Young Min for slander to the Seoul Central Court on October 4th, 2009.

Kang said, “Although this case is obviously to fight the unfair profit splits and the conflict between the members and SME, SME is trying to push the blame onto CreBeau.”

Kang went on to reveal that the three members have only invested approximately 70,000 dollars, 60,000 dollars, and 40,000 dollars respectively. This amount, he said, was not enough to earn the three members rights to ownership of the business, let alone a big part of the profit.

Kang said, “In May 2009, some SME representatives visited the original branch of CreBeau Cosmetics in China twice. They determined that the members were not going against contract terms in any way, and now SME is distorting the true reason behind the case and putting out ridiculous claims... SME said that the whole lawsuit was due to the members’ wanting to continue a business that went against contract terms. This has no credibility in that SME has already approved of the investments previously. The members wouldn’t risk all the things that they gained as TVXQ by creating a conflict with their company over insignificant investments. It was a private investment, and the three have no ownership over the business in any way. They’re merely investors, nothing less, nothing more. What does this have to do with the lawsuit, and why is SME attempting to connect the two together?”

Kang went on to say that SME’s actions have brought about significant harm to the business not only in Korea, but all over Asia, including China, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, and even the United States. For the employees and CEOs all over the world, CreBeau is their sole income. SME should have considered the impact its blames would bring to the business and the people involved in it.

“If SME’s company and its profits are so important that they are willing to harm others for it, then SME should recognize that it is the same for others.” Kang went on to say that “If SME does not stop distorting the truth and doesn’t apologize for the harms it brought upon CreBeau, I will not hesitate to reveal the details of SME’s absurd act to the public and to the court.”

yesterday afternoon, allkpop released this news. and this news. needless to say, I almost had a heart attack when I read those. at first, I was completely furious. why would ho-min say such things, which imo, sound like they are opposing jaechunsu? saying things like this would not only divide fans, but also put jaechunsu in a bad light, as if all they were interested in was making money, which is NOT the case. the lawsuit was never about the cosmetics business. it was about the unfair contract. didn’t yh said “The five of us will never part!” just recently? wouldn’t the comments homin made now spoil dbsk’s relationship and defeat the whole purpose of those words? plus, what’s with the parent’s contribution all of a sudden? it completely makes everything out to be jaechunsu’s fault! and why is sm praised so much? something smelled fishy. I started to think, homin wouldn’t go against the other 3, would they? so, I ran to the dbsk’s thread in the soompi forums, and calmed down (somehow). people were saying maybe, just maybe, homin’s signatures were forged. I mean, yh’s has a star, which is kinda inappropriate, and cm signed in chinese. strange? but then, forgery is illegal, and sm isn’t stupid. how else are they so filthy rich? they are cunning. well, then, perhaps homin were forced to sign? they are still under sm, after all, so they can’t afford to go against them. who knows. but I want to believe that they still believe in jaechunsu, because well, dbsk is one, right? I know they probably have their disagreements (who doesn’t), but announcing it to the media like that, would just cause grief for everyone. even if it turns out that homin actually doesn’t want to leave sm (although I wouldn’t understand why, given the contract), they are entitled to their own opinions, which I will respect, since they probably have their reasons... the thing I am concerned about is why homin and their parents are saying this now. look at the timing. not only will it make jaechunsu look bad and make sm the victim, sm had just lost part of the case. wouldn’t it benefit them if homin sided them now? they said before they’d release ‘shocking’ news about dbsk... maybe the homin thing is it? going back to square 1, blaming the cosmetics company, which is jaechunsu have repeatedly stated is not the reason for the lawsuit? shouldn’t homin know better than anyone the reasons why jaechunsu started the lawsuit in the first place? I bet sm has a hand in this, somehow.

btw, sm also held a press conference recently, stating their stand on the whole issue.

well, since they’ve just lost, needless to say they must be quite bitter and pissed. notice how they didn’t talk much about the UNFAIR CONTRACT, kept emphasizing about the beauty product business, how jaechunsu are only interested in money (pot calling the kettle black) blahblahblah bullshit? and did my eyes play a trick on me? does the pic say ‘SM REQUESTED THAT THE 3 MEMBERS SUBMIT A DEPOSIT OF 1 BIL. WON EACH TO COVER THE DAMAGES SM HAS INCURRED.’ right. wtf? 3 bil won? if I’m not wrong, dbsk has earned only around 11 bil won in the 6 years since debut. even if you add the lawyer fees and all, how can the damages possibly amount to 3 bil over a span of less than half a year? but then I’m unfamiliar with how exactly how it’s calculated, so maybe I’m wrong. but 3 billion won still sounds like a bit too much.

anyway, at least there’s good news.

HA! in your face sm! now that they’ve pulled out of the cosmetics company, they can’t use that as an excuse to make jaechunsu look bad anymore. it was idiotic in the first place, cause anyone who’s been following the case would know that the cosmetics issue plays a negligible part in jaechunsu’s decision to sue. plus, today’s news turns out to be mostly fake. is allkpop a questionable source? I think so.

besides, because of this whole mess, many antis are taking the opportunity to defame dbsk, saying they’re biting the hand that feeds them, being unappreciative now that they’re famous blahblahblah. well, I understand and respect the whole concept of having filial piety and loyalty to your company and all. that, in fact, is something you should do, but when the company turns out to be quite different from what you expected, do you still keep on being loyal? even if they abuse and take advantage of you? let me give a scenario: 某某人has a pet dog. he trains it to perform circus tricks. if it can’t perform, the owner trains it day and night, overworks it, beats it, until it performs the best tricks and becomes sensational, and only then does it get rewarded. one day, while hitting the dog, it bites back at its owner. is the dog wrong for defending itself, even though it owes the owner, who has fed it and provided it a place to stay all this while? who is wrong? I repeat, this is just a scenario. I’m not accusing sm of anything that is not already proven, and I am most definitely NOT comparing dbsk to circus dogs (no insult to dbsk and dogs, both of which I love lol). I’m just saying, sometimes, things aren’t all just black and white, and the grey area in between is, basically, giving me a headache. what’s the right thing to do? personally, I believe that if jaechunsu has decided to sue, than things must be really bad, because I think they’re good people, not the backstabbing type. that I sure of, at least. so I guess I don’t believe they’re biting the hand that feeds them, just fighting, bravely, I might add, to change the shady ways of the entertainment business. maybe I’m being a delusional fangirl, but I have a choice to choose what to believe in, don’t I? it’s just my two cents worth, anyway.

at this point, I’d also like to mention that there’s this rather infamous ‘sm curse’ that popular groups under sm won’t last for more than 5 years. it's not (always) true, but I wonder how this rumour started? H.O.T and Shinwa, 2 of the most famous groups in kpop, got into a conflict with sm as well, for financial issues. H.O.T ended up disbanding (lasted 5 years), while Shinhwa didn’t and left sm. does this say something about sm’s management? hot fans even warned cassies, quite long ago, before this whole nightmare started, about sm. I appreciate that sm produces quality music and very good artistes, but why is it that these successful artistes ended up turning against sm? hot, shinhwa, and now dbsk. coincidence? maybe. and I moonlight as santa clause. anyway, dbsk’s celebrating it’s sixth anniversary soon, and hopefully, they always will be together for years to come...

anyway, I guess what I’m trying to say is, I’ll only trust it if dbsk says it. questionable sources, including sm and allkpop, ~~are probably~~ could be intended to confuse and divide fans, which will, of course not happen. after reading this poignant and touching piece, my faith is stronger than ever (am I a fanatic? lol)

but still, I feel so much better knowing that many other people share the same feelings... at least I know I’m not insane (not the worst anyway) or anything... ^.^

sometimes, I wish I never jumped on the kpop bandwagon... takes a toll on your state of mind... half the time, you’re insanely delirious when your favourite idol releases a new single or makes you laugh till you cry... then just when you grow so fond of them, they get involved in some scandal or accident and break your heart, making you worry about someone you never met or even knows you exist... but... I don’t regret it. dbsk is actually the first one who pulled me over to kpop. being the first group I got crazy over, they have a special place in my heart. (lol that sounds so cheesy!) ^.^ actually, I was listening to their japanese songs, (speaking of which, thank god avex rocks) but since I knew they sing in korean too, I thought, hey, why not listen to some of those songs as well? and from there, I got to know super junior, which ties with dbsk as my no.1 fav group. not to forget shinee, beg, 2ne1, big bang, and the other groups and singers I adore. with their unique personalities, they made me laugh and cry together with them, and watching their struggles to overcome challenges definitely inspire me. and really, that’s what being an idol is all about right? being someone people can respect and love, inspiring them, even thought they might not know you. even though I’m still new to kpop culture, I’m already certifiably crazy. so as a fan, I shall show my appreciation to these wonderful people, for never failing to brighten my day, by supporting them all the way! holidays! ... not?

sigh. it’s supposed to be the holidays already, but I still have to attend ‘extended curriculum’ in school for another 2 weeks! arrgghh. why must they start to chiong the syllabus now? if the syllabus is too long, no time to teach finish, then they should just shorten it! makes no sense... anyway, it’s just another 2 weeks... I’m counting the down the days...

on a totally different note: I changed my blogskin! november’s theme is none other than... DBSK aka TVXQ aka Tohoshinki! ^w^ aren’t they great? of course they are! the case that JaeChunSu are involved in is making some progress... hopefully, everything ends well for them...
about the case: Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu have filed a case against SM Entertainment for binding them to an unlawful contract which will otherwise continue for another 13 years. Contract details:

and this is the revised one, mind you. I heard an earlier version states that they will get 0% income if they can’t sell more than 500 000 copies of their album. And guess what, no artiste in korea had even managed to hit that number, until dbsk broke that record with their mirotic album. in other words, they practically didn’t get paid for everything they did before that. even after that, they were paid like 1-5%, and that’s not counting after you split between 5 members. if this isn’t a slave contract, I don’t know what it is.

so far, the court has decided to temporarily suspend the contract and annul the exclusivity clause, which prevented them from carrying out individual activities like investing in other businesses etc. previously, the poor boys had with a miserable, more or less non-existant income from sm. Now, at least, they are free to make their own decisions and sm can’t force them to do anything they don’t want to, and they can also set up their own businesses and invest, to earn more money. The (ridiculous) income part and the length of the contract are still being discussed, but hopefully, the court will rule in dbsk’s favour too...

even though some people say it was their fault for signing the contract in the first place, it’s not fair, because they were only around my age then, and why would they turn down a once-in-a-lifetime chance to become an idol? they were just chasing their dreams... and sm just took advantage of that, knowing they will sign whatever contract they are given without reading twice... in the first place, it’s illegal (I think) to have such contracts. It’s inhumane. how did dbsk go through 6 years under this? I get pissed off just thinking about it... even though sm can produce the most wonderful singers and hit songs, they’re just another money-hungry business... but I don’t think dbsk will disband, because yunho said they wouldn’t, and I want to believe that, but I’m not sure if they’ll continue in sm after this. I mean, their relationship has gone pretty sour... but it would be sad if they had to leave the sm family because they are close friends...sigh.

but really, sm is horrible... how can they abuse the artistes like this? dbsk is one of the most popular stars in the whole of asia... if even they get treated like this, I really don’t want to imagine what other less popular artistes have to face... well, it’s no big secret that korea’s entertainment industry isn’t exactly very clean... many entertainers are treated very unfairly... maybe this is why some of them committed suicide... how sad... but if jaechunsu wins the case against sm, then other entertainment agencies will probably revise the contracts for other entertainers as well, because otherwise, they might get sued too. sigh, this is why dbsk is so great... not only are they standing up for their own rights, they’re helping to improve the way the whole industry is run... dbsk hwaiting!!!

waahhh, a few more days till the official beginning of HOLIDAYS!!! woohoo!! ^.^ v this has been a very fun and exciting week... on monday, I went to...*drumroll* Sentosa!!! yay! it was such a great day... see for yourself... ahhh, thank you for all the presents!!! I love them!

then, on friday, I went to the science center as part of post-exam activities... hahaha, spent more time eating at mcdonalds (yum! hotcakes!) than exploring... but the omni-theater was very nice... the screen is so huge... anyway, it seems like schools love to bring us to the science centre, for whatever reason... I practically know every exhibit by now... I think we went last year, or was it sec 1? can’t remember. and I think after psle, we went too... which reminds me. I think I celebrated my 12th birthday at the mcdonalds there! hahaha, that still I remember! XP

ehhh, anyway, I don’t have to go to school tomorrow!! hehehe... ‘promotion day’ or something... all the teachers will sit down and decide our fate... if we get promoted or retained... of course, 99% of us are promoted... I don’t know anyone who got retained, so... who cares? I’m just happy because monday is a holiday~

it’s my 50th post!!! wow! ^o^ I caught the live broadcast of dream concert today!!! so nice... well, it’s not exactly ‘live’ because the concert was yesterday night... but it was shown on korean tv today... I watched it online... ahh, got my favourites, suju, suju m, shinee, 2ne1... sadly, 2pm and big bang not broadcasted, for whatever reason... sad. but it was still very nice... why doesn’t singapore have any nice concerts like this? heck, singapore doesn’t even have any idol groups... so boring...

jonghyun looks nice here... because his face is the only one not covered by a hat... minho’s hair is... oh my...

sigh. been mugging the whole week... geog, physics, history... so sian. geog and phys still okay... hopefully can get A1... studied like siao for history, focus on hitler and stalin, then you know what came out? treaty of versailles, gustav stresemann (wtf), and fascist japan. so sway. as soon as I got the paper, quickly flipped to the seq part. saw the japan qsn, my whole mind went blank. of course choose the other qsn. tov still can manage. luckily I remember who that gustav guy was. there was about ten lines on him in the hitler chapter. wow. then sbq, also crappy. who puts reliability as the first qsn anyway?! then couldn’t find any differences for the comparison qsn, anyhow tikum... sigh. I am so dead. mrs sng say ss also quite bad. now history also sure flunk... sa1 also crap. please let me pass overall for combined humanities... T.T I will be super super super happy if I can even get a B4... but good news is, I have only 4 papers left! 2 amaths, geog paper 2, plus chem.. and oral. a bit scared for chinese oral, because I’ve never taken it before... at least not in sce sch... hope amaths is easy! today’s emaths paper 2 was easier than paper 1! only got one qsn totally dunno... anyhow do... aish... I want exams to be over soon!!!

and while I’m here suffering, a thousand miles away, tomorrow, there will be a big big concert in seoul...

got suju, shinee, snsd, big bang, 2pm, 2ne1 and many more... those who won’t be there include dbsk (likewise cassiopeia), kangin and probably kibum (who seems to have vanished to somewhere recently...) how can dbsk not be there? they are one of the biggest stars! without cassies, the stadium will have a big empty space! all because of the stupid lawsuit thing! and 2pm fans are boycotting because of jaebeom... things are not going so smoothly... I guess this year’s dream concert will be filled with mainly sapphire blue (elf). hooray for suju~ oh, sjm will also be debuting in korea tomorrow... that will be nice. hope the elfs support them... it would be terrible if there was another ‘black ocean’... like last year... hope this year is better... but how can it be better when so many people are missing? anyway. I’m gonna watch the videos as soon as they come out! ^-^

as you can see, I have updated my blogskin (squeal!) and changed my bloggie’s url, cuz it’s my blog’s birthday! it’s (almost) one year old now! wow... and this is my 48th post... I actually added all those cute pics at the side myself! just for fun~ ^.^

also, it’s mid-autumn festival today! also known as mooncake festival or lantern festival... mmm, I love eating mooncake! especially the snowskin ones... sadly, it rained just now, and I can’t see any full moon... maybe it’ll come out later... my primary school held celebrations yesterday night... I couldn’t go cuz I had chinese tuition T.T but I could hear everything from my house anyway. could see a lot of people carrying lanterns in the courtyard also. I don’t know if they played music or someone was singing, but it sounded like some 歌台 or karaoke... so loud... anyway. mooncake yummy~

sigh. exams start again next wednesday... so depressing. haven’t even finished revising yet... still left 3 chapters of phys, some geog and history, and chem haven’t even started, cuz it’s (always) the last paper. bleah. must finish chionging tomorrow... I plan to finish phys, geog and history. if I have time, then I’ll do some maths practice... arrgghh. dun leik! >.< el compo was okay... didn’t have time to read through, so might have some mistakes... cl compo was... sigh. nothing much to write... ss was quite okay... but no guarantees. I thought sa1 ss was ‘okay’ too but end up almost failed... fingers crossed! lastly, emaths paper 1 was too hard... I thought it was supposed to be a breeze?! even left one whole qsn blank... T.T I dread paper 2... dread amaths even more... TT.TT

to cheer myself up, I’ve started watching full house. SUPER FUNNY! XDDD I know I should be studying, but I firmly believe that ‘all work and no play makes jack a dull boy!’ or jill a dull girl. or whatever. anyway, it’s good to relax! exams are stressful things... you can concentrate better and absorb more information if you’re in a good mood! it’s scientifically proven!! (I think) no point in mugging all day long anyway. I’ll just get a headache... just put down that pen, toss away those books and watch something cheerful! although maybe that’s also why I haven’t finished my revision yet... =))

the long weekend came and went so fast... sigh, and I spent most of it mugging homework and revision, because exams are coming up in a few weeks... arrgghh... more work tomorrow when I go back to school... well, in about a month’s time, the school year will be officially over, so let’s look forward to that! oh, did I mention the unspeakably crappy history cum ss teacher is gone? resigned or something... good ol’ mrs sng is back... there’s hope for my combined humanities now... and there’s this new geog teacher, from the UK, with an accent... she’s okay, I guess... if you can understand her that is. I think I can... besides that, my special day’s coming too! I want prezzies! (hahaha kidding... must not be greedy! ^.^) hmmm, I want suju and dbsk for my birthday!!! that’s not a lot to ask... is it? hohoho...

speaking of which, I hear this year’s been a really good year for kpop girl groups. lot’s of them have hit singles (nobody, gee, etc.) and lots of new girl groups were formed this year too (f(x), 2ne1 etc.) ... but sadly, boybands seem to be jinxed this year... dbsk’s contract thing, kim hyun joong catching h1n1, onew losing a couple of teeth cuz he, uh, tripped on the stairs and fell flat on his face (cute or clumsy...? -.-) and more recently, 2pm’s leader jaebom leaving the group, and lastly, kangin getting involved in an assult case... what a horrible year... the contract thing is still ongoing, but I really hope sm gives in, because the poor guys are practically slaves... kimhyunjoong and onew should be fine by now, and I’m not really familiar with 2pm, but apparently, some people dug up some stuff jaebom said on the internet about 4 or 5 years ago that was not-so-nice, and spread bad stuff about him so he quit... then some drunken idiots picked a fight with kangin and claimed he hit them and stuff. he did say he was innocent, but everyone was worried and uncertain until the cctv proved that, he did, actually, but in self-defense, so he was, technically, innocent. really, those morons were probably really drunk and really dumb. who’d pick a fight with kangin of all people? probably deserved it if they got whacked...

anyway. I’m updating quite late today, and it’s also a weekday, so I should go to sleep soon... this is another new song, which will help me sleep better after listening! =D

*sighs* if only there were nice surprises like this in stored for me on the first day of every school term... then I’d have no complains... I’m so happy... waited so long for this... well, not very long, I guess. been waiting since they released the teaser, then I heard the mv was coming out at noon today. so I kinda rushed home, but it still wasn’t there... so I kept refreshing my com until I got tired and went to do my homework. then I checked at allkpop.com at around 7.20 plus, only to find out it was released at about 6.40 or something... ehehehe. anyway, I’m so happy~

you have to admit, their mandarin (referring to those who don’t speak it) has improved a lot! I can understand them now... they’re so hardworking... 加油! kyu sings a lot here, but of course, he has one of the best voices... hankyung looks so cute (the glasses...) then 变帅 at the end... the dance is nice... I want to learn! but is it possible to learn just by watching the mv a hundred times? I’d probably get the lyrics stuck in my head... like ‘sorry sorry sorry sorry, neaga neaga neaga meonjeo...’ well, I listen to that like 3 times a day... but I can’t dance the whole sorry sorry either. oh, this song’s nice too... it’s called haru haru by big bang. at first, I thought it was japanese, because I think they sing in japanese too (not quite familiar), and the title sounds japanese, but the song’s quite obviously sung in korean... personally, I think it sounds quite j-pop-ish as well (which is good...) the mv’s quite sad, especially at the end part...

sigh... and so, my precious one-week holiday comes to an end. so sad... tomorrow, term 4 starts... more homework, more remedial classes, EXAMS... boohoohoo... that’s just so depressing... sigh. on the bright side, I think there’s no cca. I think. hopefully there’s no cca. I need to do a lot of mugging, and I need to play com... speaking of which, sjm’s new mv comes out tomorrow!!! I wanna watch! the teaser looks sooooo nice...

I actually thought this was suju’s new song the first time I watched... then I started counting and heard the lyrics...and I thought the guy at 0:09 (zhoumi I think) was leeteuk, and donghae was heechul (the hair, the shades!)! omo~ hmmm... I like sjm... in fact, I like all the sj sub-gropus, but of course, sj as one is the best... I know a lot of sj fans support ‘only 13’... truthfully, I like sj as it is too, no more, no less, but I feel kinda bad for henry and zhoumi, who tend to get bashed for no reason they can help... I think they’re perfectly nice, cute and super talented, but they’re still only in sjm. no one will break sj! they’ll probably stay as 13 for a long time~

as a side note, I find these guys’ attempts to speak mandarin hilarious... not that they’re bad, but the accent... haha, now they know how hankyung feels~ the first time I listened to sjm’s songs, I was wondering what strange language they were singing in... then I realised it was chinese... =D ahh, this is good motivation for me to improve my own chinese (...really?)

I just looked at my previous few posts, and I just realised (迟钝) they’re all about dbsk, suju etc. kpop stuff... oh dear... it’s getting a bit boring, isn’t it? *nervous laugh* and it’s not healthy to be obsessed (uhh... I’m not...). but really, they’re just too lovable and funny... anyway, it’s not like I have other things to blog about, do I? unless you want to know how long I spent doing my amaths homework in detail, which would be even more boring. and you blog about stuff you like, don’t you? new additions to my kpop loves include shinhwa, big bang, ss501 and lee hyori, who looks like korea’s koda kumi, who I really like too... anyway, みんな hwaiting! \^o^/

it’s the ninth day of the ninth month of two oh oh nine! wow... triple nine... sigh. I wish there was no school tomorrow... then I can stay at home and massage my tired legs... owowow... I went shopping for the second time this week at bugis street with my friends today. I never went there before, but it’s quite nice, if you don’t mind cramped and stuffy places. the stuff there are really cheap too. most of the bags, clothes, shoes etc cost like $10 only. but the only thing I bought was a pair of shorts, because there was a 50% discount at one store. yay~ kinda wished I’d bought more clothes though... I wanted to buy shoes, but there were no pretty ones...

we went to illuma shopping centre too, but it was like totally deserted, so we left after like 5 seconds... maybe it was too early? but most shops should be open by 12noon... well. anyway. had lunch at kfc in bugis junction , then we went to art friend (or whatever the shop name is) at bras basah. lots of nice, creative stuff there, like styrofoam mannequins... which were kinda creepy, haha...

reached home at about 4.30pm, and my legs were so tired... they still are, and I still have to go back to school to sit through eight hours of torture... T.T bleah. there’s a class party tomorrow, and I really hope the food’s free, but that’s probably too much to wish for, so I’m bringing some money. I really wanna bring coffee too, but somehow, I don’t think the teachers’d approve... oh well. I still have friday to rest. just realised I went out everyday from monday to today. and I thought holiday was supposed to be for relaxing... but I like shopping... ahhh, and I still need a new bag and shoes... think I’ll wait till year-end; there’s always sales everywhere then... must save up $$$ now!!! ^.^

sigh. I shall prepare myself for tomorrow now! 要有心理准备！要坚强! eight hours of lesson (about there... probably)... will I survive?

super talented, pretty and cool boA... sings korean, japanese and english, very good dancer too... boA rocks~

...you know, most of the korean stars have some form of fanclub of something, right? like, tvxq –cassiopeia (it’s the biggest fanclub in the world ^.^), super junior –E.L.F (um, before I knew about this, I watched this vid where heechul said he would ‘marry the elves’ so I though, you know, that he was crazy or something... ahem. but that was before. i like elves. no really. XD), ss501 –triple s, boA –jumping boa (seriously, don’t laugh...) blah blah blah... anyway. I find this really amusing, you know, and I actually would like to join but apparently, there’s a membership fee of sorts... anyway, that’s not the point. the point is, some, only some, of these fans are really super crazy... and kinda scary. oh, I’m too lazy to list down the weird things these people do.. just look in wikipedia or youtube if you’re interested... but really, it’s quite touching, how much they love their idols... who seem to really appreciate the fans too... unfortunately, there are some mean fans who give their idols a bad name... but then again, some people should really think twice before blabbering... which can result in rather unfortunate things happening...

really, though, I don’t think it’s anyone’s fault, because you can’t help it if your mouth moves faster than your head, right? still, this reflects pretty badly on snsd... so although their songs are nice, the members are rumoured to be mean to not only suju and the elfs, but also many other fellow artistes like dbsk and shinhwa... hence the boycotting... which was also kinda mean and not really deserved, but oh... their future looks uncertain. anyway, I don’t hate them, but I don’t like them as much anymore... dbsk and suju are still the best~ hwaiting!
